This version especially gets my adrenaline going since you’re battling 99 other players at once. Can be a bit frustrating when you get ganged up on, but definitely has that “just one more game” feel. The music is great too.

To each their own. I’ve been playing it since before you were still swimming from nut to nut, and it still brings a smile to my face. :)

Tetris 99 just released today and man is it addicting. Too bad I’m old and slow now.

I’m not much of a mobile player, but for me Gameplay > Everything Else. If I have the option of better gameplay for a couple more bucks, I’ll always choose it. For me, I just can’t go back to TPA after playing the Zen versions of these Williams tables. They’re more than 2 X as good imo, so...

Yep, the emulator that goes hand and hand with Visual Pinball, VpinMAME, is actually based on a really old version of MAME. There are other WMS pin ROMs in most MAME packs as well. Since WMS owned Midway back in the day, the boards and software were probably pretty similar between the arcade...

Aladdin is a great one. Way better than the SNES version. I mentioned awhile back in the emulator thread that my little brother had it when we were kids so I played the hell out of that game, but didn’t realize it’s in the Top 10 Genesis games on ranker.com, but makes sense looking back...

Did you ever end up getting one of the d-pad joycons? I’m seriosuly considering nabbing one soon, especially now that the SNES rumors appear to be true. Kind of kicking myself for not picking up SF 30th when it was on sale over the holidays, but I’m sure it’ll get even cheaper eventually.
