I just upped my best score to just short of 48M.
It's a very, very, grindy table. I think the best way to score is Double Knights Challenge; you can keep one ball trapped on the left flipper and keep collecting W-A-R millions all day. You can only collect Jackpot once per multiball, indeed...
There's a BK2K doing rounds at shows that the owner hooks up to a subwoofer. Hope it's in Allentown next month.
Best soundtrack in TPA, or in all of pinball, maybe.
Remember that most of the tables in TPA are emulated from original ROMs. That means that for things like goals and scores, TPA has to somehow "scrape" that information from certain visual and audio cues - they can't embed their own hooks into those ROMs. Unlike a built-from-the-ground-up...
The first packs I bought on Android were White Water+Space Shuttle and CftBL+Black Knight. The former I found to be a better value than the latter, since BK is so buggy.
I've no idea what "Filter Scores" does.
Also, still some "suspect" scores in there. Though sometimes I think that the rule "if Tarek has beaten it, it stays" is fair enough sometimes....
Plus maybe some bugs.
But it's a BIG improvement.
Who says FS never did anything for us?!
[Edit] Ahh...

It's a great-looking table, but it's licensed (from the movie of the same name), though there are no actor likenesses so that shouldn't preclude getting it done.
The problem is, it's from 1979...
Those three tables do have vacuum cleaners for outlanes IRL though. BSD in particular. People moan about the lightning flippers but most drains go to the outlanes...
Weekly runs from Monday thru Sunday.
Monthly starts on the first of the month.
There was an overlap this week so the monthly boards reset in the middle of the week.
No.
That would be:
Say what you like about The Sun, its headline writers are comic geniuses (when they're not busy tapping your 'phones and hacking your emails).
I'd have ponied up more for TAF if it'd meant getting in on beta testing (iirc there was a beta testing level but the wording made it sound like it was for TAF only and it was one of the really high levels - well over the $400 for T2).
Maybe there's a chance in the next KS, eh?
Contribute $400+ to the T2 Kickstarter. In other words, if you missed that boat, you missed that boat. There was no equivalent award in the TAF Kickstarter, alas, so those of us who discovered TPA post-T2 have no way into the program.
True but if HS2 and R&T are being discounted because of minor-ish licensing issues, so should TPZ, because it had one song removed (Purple Haze) plus there is Pinball Wizard, Come Fly With Me, and Feelings. Actually didn't Come Fly With me get removed as well?
DX11 is currently in beta testing, but due to the way Steam works, the DX11 option has to be public even if you don't have access to the beta to run it.
I'd be happy with that. I don't recall ever playing it IRL but really I've heard 2000AD has been having to re-invent itself of late, so maybe they'll welcome the cash injection. Good thing it wasn't based on the Sly movie, really.
They're going to need to work hard to get at some of those low-hanging fruit licenses. Whatever the low-hanging fruit are, because what we might consider such may not be.
