Thanks for the feedback guys.
I’m still working on completing my Attract Mode setup. It would’ve been a hell of a lot easier to just download a huge image like HyperPie, but I don’t want it to be overly bloated with a bunch of things I don’t care about. Ideally I even want the MAME collection...
Nice list. A few I haven’t played that I’ll have to check out.
Here’s a question for you guys: Which fighters would you say have the best single player content?
Also, Tekken 6 wouldn’t run on the Retroarch core, so that was a major selling point for switching to the standalone.
Citizen, ikr? the shrubbery just to the right of Ivy’s ass looks outstanding! :o
Exactly. I’m finding the standalone version to be better than the Retroarch core, which is probably true in a lot of cases. Way more graphics settings and other options.
Here's a before and after comparison of Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny
The first is how it looks at the default PSP internal resolution, and the 2nd is at 1080p (you can go even higher if you want)
I’ve been playing more Alpha 3 Max on PSP for the World Tour mode, and I have to say: PSP emulation is in a fantastic spot right now. Cranking up the internal resolution and then upscaling the textures looks amazing on this, Tekken 6, Soul Calibur, etc. I always regretted getting rid of my PSP...

Scroll down to “Q. Are the Pinball FX tables based on actual pinball machines?”
Right on.
Here’s an old list I found that covers some of the original launch tables and which real life pins they were inspired by:

I think after the first Marvel pack, Zen started getting a lot more...
The arcade at the old mall in Green Bay used to kick ass. The had a ton of fighting games. I think that’s where i played KoF for the first time.
I miss those arcades. Now that the music stores are gone too, there’s really no reason to go to those god-forsaken malls.
I pumped so many quarters into Lethal Enforcers. Area 51 too.
One of the last arcade games I remember really enjoying was CarnEvil.
That, the Simpsons, and the first Soul Calibur were the 3 games I rocked out on in the arcade at the mall in Escanaba, MI in the U.P. before I moved away to...
