I heard NRS puts really good single player content into their games. I’ll have to scoop some up in the next sale.
Yeah, maybe something screwy is going on with my Retroarch control config or something.
I think I figured out my Super Combo issue. I was kinda doing a reverse hadouken on my way...
Good call on Wolverine. It’s probably the Zen table I’ve played the most back before TPA came out. They definitely seem to have been inspired by Medieval Madness as far as the layout goes.
Great post, thanks man. I’ll file all this away for later.
One other thing I had trouble with is the custom combos in Alpha 2. I read that you’re supposed to hit PP+K or KK+P to activate when you have a lvl flashing, but even when I have lvl 3 maxed it doesn’t seem to work, or it sometimes...
I’ve only tried them briefly in the arcades years ago, but I do have all in my mame collection so I’ll have to give them another whirl. Which would you recommend specifically?
Currently I’m going nuts trying to get the Alpha special combos down consistently. Is there a trick to them that I...
Dreamcast emulation is a pain in the arse, so I focused on getting the PSP verison of SF Alpha 3 running in Retroarch instead. Turns out it doesn't like any shaders, so that's why it wasn't working for me before.
World Tour mode is pretty snazzy.
I really need to work on my super combos. I'm...

Went ahead and picked up the Hori Fighting Commander and I'm digging it so far. Also really liking SF Alpha 2.
Thanks for the other recommendations. I'll check em out.
I honestly haven't played TPA for at least 3 years.
Being asked to set up this poll and then being dangled along into believing this was actually going to happen was the last straw for me:

Girls in bikinis and video games have always gone hand in hand ;)
It’s kind of funny that the some of the industry is more prudish about this now than nearly 40 years ago.
Not that big of a deal to me, but just find it a bit interesting that it’s something that needs censored now.
With the nudging, I'm finding it only feels backwards with the analog stick. If you use the keyboard, it's fine. I think this is why I original didn't notice it because my X-arcade uses buttons for nudging that are mapped to keys (Z and /) and I play with that 90% of the time.
Playing around with view 5 and it's actually pretty cool.
View 8 is nice, but makes the playfield a bit too small for me (why didn't I get a 65" instead lol). View 1 is an identical angle to 8, just zoomed in more so that works better for me.
