They do not show up for me with the animations off on PC, at least not in Arcade/Tournament mode as that's all I play. Interesting that they do for you.
I’m not much of a horror guy, but Aliens and Jurassic Park were excellent. Another more recent movie I really enjoyed that had horror elements was Logan.
Ok just checked the setting for it and you can disable them, but as I said, it only applies when effects are on. There is no way to have the scores on without the effects that I can see.
Maybe you can disable them while you have the effects on, however there does not seem to be a way to turn them on independently without the other effects, which is what Kolchak was wondering. They go bye-bye when you turn off the effects.
I’m not talking about the high score pop ups, but the little score pop ups on the table itself any time you score. I’m pretty sure those are tied directly to the extra animations, or no?
OK, playing in practice mode with the tilt off and going ham reveals that nudging is indeed backwards. I guess I couldn't really tell before since it's so subtle otherwise so I haven't really been nudging all that much.
So yeah, it's a problem. Keyboard users can at least remap the controls...
I didn't think I would be either, but I'm actually really enjoying it. I especially like the little score popups when you hit a shot because they keep me from looking up at DMD to check my score, and it just adds a sense of instant gratification and reward that you don't otherwise get.
Yes, that is correct, but it's sometimes hard to tell for a number of reasons:
1.) It's much more subtle than TPA (which is good because it was way overdone in TPA)
2.) when it's out on the open playfield, the ball barely moves or doesn't move at all (again also a good thing)
