Table of the Week Club...Week 27: CENTRAL PARK

Oh yeah, extra balls will totally be okay on this table. Thanks for pointing that out.

Table of the Week Club...Week 27: CENTRAL PARK

An hour later and I've beaten all the standard and wizard goals. Scoring 1000 on one ball is kinda hard. My general impression of this table is that somebody fed it way too much caffeine. Once again slings are way too powerful, making the lower half of the table move the ball at lightning...

Table of the Week Club...Week 27: CENTRAL PARK

After 2 DMD tables in a row, we go way old school with Central Park. I had to hit the randomizer button numberous times for it to not select either a table that was just in the FarSight tourney or a very recent release table. And hey, I like to throw a bone now and then to our players that enjoy...

    CONTEST: Predict Season 5 & Table Packs 39 & 40!

I predict I will have zero points by the end of this contest! I ping people in bulk now and then for TotM. It's only bad form if you do it a bunch. One note, you need to 'edit' your list over and over until all the names are highlighted for pinging. Seems it will only do a few each time you...

    Table Pack #42 Speculation

And I think Xenon proves doing something like Big Bang Bar would be perfectly acceptable. The vocal call outs are no worse in that as they are in BBB, and the alien dancer is no more risque than the artwork on Xenon. PAD be but a whisp of the vaporware it always was.

When will be the next Kickstarter?

Because quite simply it reflects negatively on the company. Kickstarters by definition are meant to get your feet off the ground. TPA has been around since 2012, not exactly a struggling, fledgling thing. When your largest competitor/peer is getting big licenses without crowd funding, how's that...

PC tourney 2015-07-31: SC, SpSh, WWind, Firepwr, Vctry, HH, Fl2000, JY

So I limited my play to one day, no more than 5 plays per table...and bombed at 61st in bronze. Ouch. Good news is I'm not sick of the tourney this go around! I actually thought I had one more day and had planned on knocking out some scores on Whirlwind, Victory, and Flight 2000 but oh well...

Table of the Week Club...Week 25: THE ADDAMS FAMILY

Finally. Finally did the 10 million plus wizard goal. Nearly had a panic attack when I saw 9 million, and then 15 seconds later hit 10 million but didn't get the wizard. I guess that's where the "plus" part comes in. It it one more time and goal registered. Happy to have that monkey off my back...

    Windows 10

I've spent more on Guitar Hero and Rock Band. Between instruments and all the game titles, I'm sure of it. And yes I put it in the same category even though there were multiple games released, because you could import the songs (for another fee) into one game. That makes it different from say...

    Old 1972 EM "Crazy Clock"

A fully functioning EM will go for around $400 or $500. And that's from Gottlieb, Williams, or Bally. This is Sega, with all the issues listed. Parts to fix it are going to be hard to come by as opposed to if it were one of the big 3.

PC tourney 2015-07-31: SC, SpSh, WWind, Firepwr, Vctry, HH, Fl2000, JY

As mentioned in our podcast, I'm going to only play each table 5 times and just live with the scores I get. Maybe. Haven't played any yet though.

Table of the Week Club...Week 26: THE PARTY ZONE

For week 26 of TotW, it's time to BYOB to The Party Zone! Personally I've not given this table much attention in TPA, and in league meetings the real table consistently kicks my butt. Time to remedy that by learning the thing! So please post tips and thoughts, let's collect those wizards.

End of Season 1, Start of Season 2....Share Feedback

Yeah, that's why I keep coming back to the idea of needing a website. (hint hint, any designers out there?) I'd still have everything here on the forum too, because the community aspect is what makes it so much fun, but and stigma this place carries with those on Facebook could be averted. I'm...

End of Season 1, Start of Season 2....Share Feedback

Here's the current changes we are considering most... -Increasing the point spread to 13,9,6,4 -If you don't play a table, you get 0 points instead of the current 4 -Moving the December tourney to Jan 2nd. This can be discussed more when the time comes closer, say in November. I know some of...

Table of the Week Club...Week 25: THE ADDAMS FAMILY

Am I the only one who is completely stymied by the Wizard Goal of collecting 10 million plus shots? So hard on one ball! I normally play in view 2, but view 3 has actually increased my accuracy for it (shoot Thing ramp, wait for ball to enter red paint just above book). I've gotten as many as 9...

BlahCade Podcast #20 - Forum Questions Part 1

Nope. Will Ferrel just doesn't make me laugh, not even in small doses. Like the Austin Powers movies, I don't like them as a whole, but show me an individual scene and I very well may laugh. Quote a scene, and I'll probably join in. Weird. Strange Brew rules! Love those guys, even have the...

BlahCade Podcast #20 - Forum Questions Part 1

By the way, in the podcast I said Anchorman was a 90's comedy, yet it really came out in 2004. Still don't think it's funny though.

BlahCade Podcast #20 - Forum Questions Part 1

I was terribly disappointed in BASEketball. Probably most because Matt and Trey didn't write any of it, and yet a Zucker did (responsible for Airplane and such), and when the movie failed to meet either of those expectations I was crushed. I think the only moment I truly laughed was the...
