This and NBA Fastbreak are my most wanted. And believe me, I've been mentioning them and begging every time I'm in contact with one of the guys from FarSight! They might be able to 'Fester' the table, just depends on the license agreement and if they would be in violation for doing that to the...
Alright, hitting the BBQ bonus a few times right at the start of games got me the special. Probably 10 minutes tops of trying, at first I hit it right off and if it didn't give me the special, I started over. Then I tried a couple of games where I'd just relight the BBQ, and 3rd relight was the...
Ahhh, I'll go for it that way then. There's just no accurate way of consistently hitting those targets. From a trapped ball on the right, a very late flip will sometimes get you "Heads", sometimes it'll hit the slingshot. I can't tell you how many times I've seen a ball make direct contact with...
There a trick to hitting the Raise The Dead Heads stand ups on the left? Need to clear those 6 times to collect my last wizard, and I'm lucky to get 2.
Was that really necessary? Look through this entire thread, the tone has always been the same. You may have your differences, but hash 'em out in the chat, not here. Many guys use this thread as their calling card for entering chat. It's also a good way to know when NOT to enter if there are...
I'll leave the intro to the TotW to someone else this time...
Hello my little lumplings, it's me, Elvira, Mistress of the Dark. Ready to get your balls a movin'? Because this week's table features lil ol' me! Yes it's Elvira and the Party Monsters. I've got the barbeque going if you little...
Wouldn't mind that at all. Just played a bunch of it the other day. Had no idea what to do to advance the game, but had a lot of fun with the flow of the ball and table shots.
With part 2 coming very soon, figured now was a good time to post this for everyone that didn't listen (how dare you!) or wanted to revisit.
Many are wondering how many more seasons of The Pinball Arcade are planned, and what that means for future table choices. Obviously we know Season 5 is...
This site is absolutely Gord Lacey's doing. He's the one who pays to keep the lights turned on. I suggest you all follow him on Twitter and enjoy his Canadian ways.
Of all the TotW tables we've done, the only 2 I haven't finished are Genie (3 million goal), and AFM (video mode). I only JUST finished BftK and video mode on MM, all these years later. RBION is hard only until you understand not just the rules, but ball patterns. Everybody always says the same...
Ohhhhh, yeaaaaaaaahhhhh! That's some fine artistry there!
Heads up people...I spoke to Mike of WizardAmusement.com over the weekend, and we'll be giving away some more shooter rods as prizes in upcoming TotM tourneys. Stay tuned!
Oh, oh, pick me!
The answer to why it took so long to come out on PC is simple...their license required them to have DRM protection. That was built in to PSN, Xbox Live, the App Store, and Android. On the PC though? They looked at Origin, they looked at Steam, I think they looked at one other...
All tables will eventually get the flipper physics update. Some tables will also get a re-tuning in general. I sent Bobby a list of tables with 'impossible' shots and he plans on addressing these as he either adds the flipper physics or deals with the planned 'difficulty' settings for certain...
There's a certain Zen state I enter when playing RBION, because most of the shots I can hit at will. I do play a lot of TAF simply because the sum of its individual attributes are greater in total than on almost any other table.
I'd take Gophers any day. I find it funnier, way more fun, and looks better to boot. Tee'd Off has some interesting things, but agree that ball flow is atrocious on it. And yeah, if you don't know the rules (I barely do), it's hard to get anywhere on it.
Disney IPs are a tough nut to crack, yes. Often companies lose money on these because they have to pay out so much to Disney, who like an A list actor, believes their name alone moves product and they deserve to be compensated accordingly. Companies are okay with this though, as it proves they...
TotW (table of the week) requires nothing to be done other than playing the selected table that week and joining in the conversation here. You can post tips, your scores, the challenge of beating wizard goals, favorite part of a table, what bugs you, whatever. TotW is purely having a focused...
