This started in the Table Pack #36 thread, and I've copied the first few here (linked for attribution to authors):
Chuck Norris can score more than 3,000,000 on Genie. (http://digitalpinballfans.com/showthread.php/9433-Table-pack-36-speculation?p=197850&viewfull=1#post197850)
Chuck Norris has...
Now you mention it, I recall it happening in Pin*Bot too. I've never rolled Taxi or Dr Dude, but those have 8-digit score displays.
Anyway, one person's bug is often another's useful feature....
My observation of St Patricks Day is that anywhere outside of Ireland takes it more seriously than the Irish.
Manchester is also in New Hampshire. And just down the road from me - it's a small town just outside York.
I've only ever been to the original, though.
4K monitors are getting better and better, and refresh rates are coming down all the time.
Likewise GPUs are catching up, with both better cards, and improved drivers.
That said - if you want to game in 4K, you're going to want a GTX780 or equiv as a minimum. Anything less struggles, though...
There was an inconsistency between versions: on mobile, TAF defaulted to Gold Mode, and on Steam it defaulted to regular TAF. I'm assuming that there was a small patch issued to correct that because TAF now defaults to Gold Mode on Steam as well.
There have been reports of $100 backers getting...
I'm going with NGG or RBION here. I just can't get into either of them. NGG for starters has far too much trying to go on at once, and it's always loud, and it's always accompanied by those stupid gofers. RBION, maybe due to the theme, just doesn't hang together. It has bits all over the...
WRT nudging: think about how you nudge a real table, vs. how it works in TPA.
Typically you are nudging at the corners of the table, either with one hand or with two. So the nudge is either going to be diagonal up/right, diagonal up/left, or fully up. There's also shaking, particular useful...
Okay, two things that are bothering me, and with the idea of introducing new difficulty levels in the form of "modes" a la "Gold Mode" for TAF, these need addressing sooner rather than later.
1. Local high scores for Gold and regular TAF are on the same leaderboard. There are separate online...
All-time no-brainer:
TZ. The poster child for taking a tough real-world table and making it a joke to play.
Regular no-brainers:
Scared Stiff. Please can it just be steeper? I could loop the ramps in my sleep. I probably have.
Black Hole. I can see how this table might be fun - if it were...
Is it compatible with SweetFX? A bunch of people are using that for lighting effects. See this thread: http://digitalpinballfans.com/showthread.php/9186-Pinball-Arcade-with-SweetFX-lightness-control-bloom-etc?highlight=sweetfx
38M. Not much to say except keep going for multiball, and don't forget that lighting all 9 traffic lights after collecting the jackpot also lights EB.
There is also another bug (is it a ROM bug?) whereby if you roll the score, you get an EB at 1.4M after every roll. So not just at 1.4M, but...
I just knocked out the last 3 on Goin' Nuts today: 360s, 3 EBs, 500K bonus. Though I think I was swindled out of actually playing my last EB - I deliberately drained both balls once I got the 360s so I'd also get the 500K bonus, but they both drained simultaneously, and the game ended instead...
I see it more akin to a script extender/launcher such as skse for Skyrim. Nothing to be worried about from a legal standpoint since all it does is leverage an already exposed API.
