Mip mapping has made a huge difference to graphics quality. The sharpness is noticeable on HD screens.

I can definitely confirm that it doesn't look like it is an issue with the app, @Ryan Routon. I'd call it as a Touch screen FW issue.

I strongly suspect it was my touch screen driver. I flashed a different version with different voltages for the touchscreen and I've noticed a dramatic improvement.

If you do release an incremental update, you may want to consider "dumbing down" the "mipmap" option on the menu. Most folks won't know what that means or that turning it off is the best setting for performance devices. Think about what this feature does. Is there a way of describing that like...
