I much prefer Hobbit to GoT as far as art goes. Not even close for me. I've played Hobbit and really wanted to keep playing it. I hope to have the same reaction when I'm lucky enough to play a GoT. The layout certainly looks good, but it's so hard to tell until you get your hand on them.
I have a feeling this will be one of the best looking and playing releases. I'm curious to see the PC version as well. The lighting should look fantastic.
Totally agree. Complicated, stacking, or heavy mode driven pins translate very well to TPA. I've played very little JM or JD but the shots felt good and the rules seemed pretty complex. I'd like both if the licenses aren't crippling.
The mini golf course near me had a Gilligans a Island the last couple of summers. The rotating island is neat toy and is the highlight of the game. The rest of the pin is average at best IMO. It was one of the first DMD pins, but the DMD doesn't really add much to the game.

Frank, it's ok to cheat if you want. We are just having fun sharing lyrics we like or find interesting. No rules here.
There is a Velvet Underground live cd set coming out in November called The Matrix Tapes. This 4 cd set sounds like it might be fantastic.
You've got me totally stumped...
If it plays well, then all sins will be forgiven. A lot of people didn't like the art on AC/DC, but it sure seemed to sell very well. As mentioned above, Stern may have been handcuffed by the license holder and forced to use specific fonts and clip art. By this point Stern has to know that...
