It's a very difficult and frustrating pin. It's the kind of quarter thief I usually avoided back in the arcade days. But here you can play it as much as you like. Good games are less common than on most pins. But that makes them even sweeter when you have everything clicking for you.

Sorry I'm not much help with pins in Lancaster. I usually play on pins in the other direction (toward Phila). The furthest pins I know in that direction are in the arcade at the Berkshire mall in Reading.
I've played a few Atari pins and I usually find they play a little better than they look. The last I remember playing was called Middle Earth. I thought it looked horrendous. Ended up playing 4 or 5 games on it. Thought it was fun.
On what platform do you find it too slow?
Are you talking all tables or certain ones.
I play on ios and find several too fast, like High Roller Casino. Whirlwind, Phantom of The Opera, and Hanted House.
I'm with you D.O. The table art and beautiful lighting are enough visual eye candy for me. I turn off the glass, particles, and table wear. I leave the room background on though (just habit). But you can kill the room background too if it helps the game run smoother.
