This was FS experimenting with a 'fake' version of DX11 and knocking it out of the park. They've gone a bit more subtle since, or so it seems to me. I wouldn't go so far as to say FS didn't make S1 & 2 'correctly', but they absolutely should revisit the tables and apply this lighting to them.

Why tilt the EBs? That sets certain games up for immediate tilts thereafter. Just plunge. Whatever points you earn while the ball bounces, you keep.

Because FarSight isn't some start up game studio. They have been around for 20+ years, and should be able to finish a project like cab support, as promised, without asking for handouts. Throwing money at them is not going to speed up the project.
