Here's a question...
I'm assuming that in order to do a proper bowling game, ball spin is involved? If so, might this be the gateway to getting ball spin into TPA?
I thought it might be adopted by a few people, but I did not expect the large group of players so quick. I'll be most curious to see the number of people that post scores for the upcoming tourney.
All I can say is, encourage others to join in. It's any platform, there is no commitment.
I...
Standard goals are done, but not a single Wizard. High score to date is 614K.
I actually own this machine, but I only had it functioning for a month before I tore it apart to restore it. That was almost 2 years ago. Maybe this will stoke the fire to do something about that.
Your new table of the week is nearly as devious as last weeks, as it is FIREPOWER!
Start those discussions, share what wizard goals you need, and post some scores! 3...2...1...(ball drain)
I'm gonna say this just to get it out of the way...
Table of the Week will never be a just released table. New tables have no need for excitement to be drummed up about them. On top of that, I want people who aren't buying season pass, or those playing consoles to have a chance to be included...
I like people to have 1 day of the weekend to play the table. They can get their play in on Sunday, be busy all week, and play again Saturday. Just makes more sense to me. Also, I'm not tying this in to the vagaries of when FarSight updates. I may be in the same time zone as them, but the rest...
Well, if they have the Brunswick license then that means they're a tiny bit closer to being able to do The Big Lebowski table! Seeing as how that features a Brunswick bowling lane...
What?
Good luck finding any info on the Playboy table. Most of the guys in the league are collectors, and even they didn't know much beyond it being a rumor. In terms of how it played, not much to tell you. Imagine shooting on a table where no modes start, no blinking lights tell you what to...
I've actually played it. The league guy with the astonishing house and arcade full of prototypes owns it, as well as a VERY early stages Playboy table that was for Pin2000. The layout and shot selection, even on a whitewood, is much more fun than Revenge From Mars and certainly Phantom Menace...
Well clearly the problem is, you're scoring too many damn points! I've never had that issue, because I keep a respectable low score going. FarSight thinks you're an over achiever and is punishing you accordingly
I'm gonna try 3 ball too. I'm not holding out too much hope, but we'll see.
Anyone else anxious to see what table my randomizer picks for next week? I'll have it listed late Saturday night my time (Pacific Standard) in a new thread. That is when this one will be closed, too. So get your last...
FarSight really wants to do Big Bang Bar. I believe Gary Cunningham has asked them to do it too (he owns the license for it now, not sure about other Capcom. He also owns Wizard Blocks). So if FS was to do a Capcom game, BBB would be first on the list. I was told there are two issues. One being...
They have the Capcom license. Been said for the emulation it would be similar in scope to doing a Stern, but with so few tables to apply it to, not sure if they want to go through the hassle.
