This is very true. The CPU performing the calculations isn't the hard part, its programming them in the first place that's tough.. but doable. Somebody should get FS to watch that physics demonstration video for Unity that was posted in the other games section. That's what FS should be aiming...
I can imagine it would. You'd hate the TZ I played on location. It was set up with 4 replay extra balls and 5-ball play to begin with (everything else standard). I made it to LITZ on my second game but I think that was with like 13 or 14 total balls played lol. I think its more enjoyable...
Yes, if you're not accruing the savings GT has provided you then you're not managing your household finances correctly. Every dollar saved on not buying supercars should be directly allocated to the buying pinball machines fund. The same goes for every real machine you don't buy because of...
Yeah, that's probably what was happening there. He probably had stored progress from the prior game and hit the advance one level random reward right at the beginning of the game. I think getting to Super Dude in one game from a fresh ROM status is a good goal but I wouldn't concern myself...
I would be up for that too. I felt like 2013 was the year of getting back into real pinball for me, and 2014 it going to be the year of taking it to the next level (going to events and whatnot). This would be a good start.
In fairness many of those insta-drain shots are usually perfectly safe if you hit them from the opposite flipper. Sucker shots are just part of pinball.
My Baywatch has 5 of the same type of stand up targets by the ramps as STTNG has. 3 of the 5 are insta-drains STDM faster than I have any...
The ability to add lighting flippers to some tables would be a welcome one but don't you think that it would be quite a bit of work per table to implement? I would think that the way TPA works lightning flippers would require a completely independent tuning pass from the regular length flippers...
For me the 2014 goal will be simple - complete all of the wizard goals on the PS4 version of the game.
I guess I should finish up the wizard goals on a couple of the PS3 tables that were released after the trophies ran out also. Finishing up through the end of season 2 would probably be a...
Find someone that lives reasonably close to you that has experience owning and fixing machines that can sort of mentor you. That way you can ask their advice on silly things like what cleaners/wax/multimeter/lift/dolly/soldering iron/etc to buy when you need them and even better go to their...
The light dissipation is too abrupt I think (at least based on these videos, I haven't seen it in person yet). It gives the effect of spotlights shining down from above, as others have mentioned before. The transition from light to dark should be smoother and when the bright GI is on under the...
Didn't Spoonman get a bunch of extra codes that he didn't want during the Black Friday sale? Maybe he would sell you one at cost or close..
There's always a good stream of free games coming through it, more than I can even come close to keeping up with. Definitely worth it even at full price.
