Yep, a wonderful value to be sure. It is like having a new Ferrari, but with one of those tiny, temporary spare tires on the front that keeps the car's full potential from being realized.
I'm in the spit and polish camp. I'd rather see a 3 month break in new tables to concentrate on bug fixes and improvements to existing content. Tournaments could be revamped, physics could be tweaked, artwork issues corrected, scripted tables converted to emulation, etc.. I don't expect it to...
I really wish they would sell just the software option to have the DMD on a separate monitor. I don't need anything fancy. The components are very modest in performance compared to a typical gaming rig, and it looks like they were chosen for their low power usage and cooler operating temps...
Posting the bug list is not being done out of malice, but of good will and support in an effort to make the game the best it can be. Pinballwiz45b is one of the biggest fans of TPA.
I covet what I can't have. Guess I am human. Keep hoping to see an update on Steam for TPA that would get this issue corrected. Only having 60 tables available instead of 61 is terrible.
Are the preliminary investigations done? Does this issue appear to be fixable in the near future?
It does not happen too often, but it does seem to occur when 2 or more balls quickly drain. Wondering if nudging the table may impact the kickout eject to the ball launcher? During the ball saver time in multiball, perhaps a drained ball is not being properly sent to the launcher but the game...
The best thing about pinball for me is that I can play it on my own schedule and immediately have a great time. I don't have to relearn the control scheme and reacquaint myself with the story or the basic game mechanics after being away for a while.
This is the reason why I play pinball more...

I initially purchased the game on the Xbox 360. I have it on my iPad (3rd gen.) and also my Android phone. I bought it for the PS3 after giving up on new releases for the Xbox 360, and finally bought it for the PS4 as the DX11 lighting for the PC was taking forever to be implemented and I...
For me, the issue has something to do with my video card's DVD-I connection using a 1920x1080 resolution. Been told the problem is the game software, and not my equipment.
I have two 1920x1080 60Hz monitors connected to an Nvidia GTX770 video card. One monitor is using the video card's DVD-I...
I'm not having any issues at 1920x1080 with my GTX770, but if you don't mind, could you share the Nvidia control panel settings?
This is what I normally use:
Ok, I should be more constructive. I don't encounter this too often in Ripley's, but I do have this problem more frequently with ST. Once, after tilting, I was able to nudge away on the table until the ball finally dislodged itself and I could continue. If I can get this to repeat, I will try...
I was wondering why my high score in Ripley's was disproportionately lower than most of the other tables. Then as I was enjoying a good run, thinking to myself, "this is fun, I should be able to raise my score quite a bit without any trouble". Then a ball mysteriously disappears during...
I only suggest having a time limit in order to keep from potentially having a marathon game that lasts several hours to be competitive. It should only be used as a last resort for a table that cannot be setup in a way to make the game competitive in a reasonable amount of time. I want to see...
I have 2 monitors, both 1920x1080 60Hz, connected to my GTX770 video card through DVI-I and a DVI-D ports. Not sure which monitor is using which connection type (not at home now to check), but I am always having to use ALT+Enter twice to get the screen resolution to go from full screen...
I want to see a daily tournament for every table with the following parameters.
24-hour daily tournament
single game only with one available replay that resets the original score
no extra balls
fixed awards
time limit
The weekly and all-time leaderboard could still be implemented with...
