My Raid 0 array is reporting a drive error during startup, and while everything seems to be working fine for now, I've backed up my important files to a USB thumb drive and will be finally making the jump to an SSD. While I am at it, I figured I may as well get a copy of Windows 10.
I have...
The tournament just compounds the issue as the players are trying to rush to complete that last second scoring shot or purposefully attempting to drain the ball in order to collect a final end of ball bonus. When the countdown timer ends, the player is overexcited and it is not easy to adjust...
I consider myself to be a tier 3 Gold player. I'll be happy if I only keep from being relegated. Kind of like Newcastle United in the Premier League. Great tables this tourney, but having both MM and AFM together is bit too much. They are too similar.
You might try using the closest 16x9 resolution available and prevent the monitor or graphics card from aspect scaling in the settings. This would leave a thin black bar above and below the image or to either side if using portrait mode.
That would be nice, especially considering the deals that are going on with microSD cards.

People are also reporting that their in-game purchased tables are no longer available. I'm guessing the servers are down as these issues are most likely related.
I think there is something wrong with the Pinball Arcade servers that manage customer in-game purchases and the leaderboards. Hopefully the problem just requires a reboot to correct.
I play in an office with a TV and a nice stereo system. I typically play with the volume very low, especially after having played a table many times. I fire up a table to play, and either listen to music and keep the TV muted with sports on, or I keep the TV volume up with no music if I am...
Nope, it has not been made available yet to the public. Must be some kinks to work out before we get to play with it. It's an ambitious interface overhaul, and it doesn't take much to set things back a bit with such a small, though incredibly hard-working, group of developers.
Here is the exact card from the store page on Newegg where I purchased it in July 2013.

It needs a lot of power, and it is a big card.
Never overclocked and sitting comfortably in a Fractal R5 case for the last year. In...
Sorry about not making Gold this month. You deserved it. Cheaters gonna cheat. :(
I can't take these tournaments too seriously until they adjust the difficulty significantly. Hoping that eventually the tables can be made to be more realistically challenging without having to use unfair...
The lowest 10% (?) of the Gold and Silver tournament players get relegated to the lower level. I am in Silver, and I'd prefer to stay in Silver for a few more tournaments until the Gold and Silver levels get more players. I just play the tables to get a high enough score to ensure that I won't...
Thanks for sharing. Borderlands 2 and Pinball Arcade take up way too many hours of my time according to the Steam stats.
Still have to figure out a way to include ball-spin physics that don't alter the game mechanics in odd ways or bring gaming systems to their knees. I think this...
I go with Room 20 and Bulb 55 for all tables. It seems to work well in the room I play in, which is very dim, much like the arcades of the 80's I remember. With various room lighting and different monitor settings, it would be difficult to create any type of objective values that anyone could...
