I had played a solo Centaur game via the head-to-head menu before we played. I scored 5.1 million, exited TPA completely. When we played, I had restarted the game, selected find a match, despite there not being anyone in the queue, and our game started up. I thought it was odd that Centaur...
For high score games, when you finish a game, is the final scoring displayed anywhere? Do you have to wait until the game is completed by the opponent if your game ends first? I'm not confident that what I am seeing on my screen is accurate. It would be nice to know what is going on with the...
Sorry, upshifting in video mode for The Getaway seems to be working for me using the right stick with a wired Xbox 360 controller. The right shoulder button is still not functioning, and the left shoulder button is activating both the 2nd left and 2nd right flippers at the same time.
There seems to be an issue with the controller button mappings for the 2nd flippers, too. The 2nd left flipper is activating both the 2nd left and 2nd right flippers, and the 2nd right flippers does not work at all. It seems that the 3rd flipper (or whatever the technical term is for the...
Confirmed! :(
This needs an emergency Friday afternoon patch. Go Mike go!
Edit: For SST, I can remap the left 2nd flipper to the right shoulder button on my Xbox controller so that it still activates that little right flipper. Still needs a permanent fix.
Absolutely! I'm thrilled to know that someone else feels the same way that I do. I was seriously considering just popping all the toast right away to end the dog video scene to see if it was the better option than playing through it.
I do enjoy the time-limited tournaments. Initially, I thought I'd prefer a tournament where only a single ball was allowed, or at least no extra balls allowed; however, now I believe the timed games are the best way to go, depending on the table. While I could never hope to be competitive with...
Yes! One ball with no extra balls earned. If you retry, it should erase your current score permanently for a risk/reward scenario. I'd settle for 1 ball tourneys.
Same here. My firewall settings are basically wide open both inbound and outbound for Pinball Arcade, but I'm not able to identify any protocol that the game may be using when attempting to monitor traffic.
I was going to try matching the table and game type in my settings with another player...
Yes, in landscape mode at 2560x1440 the glove is missing after starting a game, but I can see it initially before the game starts and the camera is doing the table flyover. In portrait mode, 1440x2560, the glove is visible at all times.
Game settings for 2560x1440:
Before starting the game...
I only have a single 2560x1440 32" screen. I don't have the problem anymore, and it is the ONLY part of my system that was changed. If I go into the display setting and set the resolution to 1920x1080, the same issue with Pinball Arcade happens and I have to ALT+ENTER twice to get the full...
I update the drivers for the video card whenever a new version is available. I perform a clean install each time and completely delete the old version.
The only settings that I make are to limit the pre-rendered frames to 1 to help reduce any latency with the controller input, but I haven't...
