I really like the update to the site and appreciate all the effort that has gone into keeping it alive.

Comment by 'Crazy Newt' in article 'Which Williams tables that were previously on The Pinball Arcade would you like next from Pinball FX?'

I missed this, as the voting is closed. I would love to see Eight Ball Deluxe redone with the FX visuals and physics if I could only choose one from the list provided. But, I love the games like Hurricane, Bad Cats, and Gorgar as much as the newer, more modern tables. I'd also enjoy having...

    It's showtime!

That was great for pinball and fun to read. I like Pat Lawlor games, as does nearly everyone, but Brian Eddy is clearly my favorite designer/programmer. I enjoy the flow of his tables and have mini games in my head about how many consecutive ramps/orbits I can hit over and over again; left...

Zen Studio’s The Pinball Show - September 2022 : reactions and feedback

I’ll have to give the Pro Mode a test tonight. I’ve basically only been playing PFX3’s tournament mode with the Williams collection tables. I greatly prefer a shorter duration game with a much higher challenge.

    Forum closure

Late to the party, but this is a welcomed surprise.

    Alright alright alright!

Zen has listened to me on the issue of random rebounds.

I'll sneak one more reply in before the forum closes. I was putting together a new gaming Z690 chipset PC, but I totally wrecked (bent the substrate) my CPU i9-12900K by overtightening the cooler, and I am travelling soon, and don't have the time or patience to get it up and running this week...

Multiple FX Pinball announcements today, plus first looks!

I did use the same settings for cabinet mode that I was using with FX3, but like everything that I do with Pinball FX, I have to close the game and restart to see the fruits of my labor. There has been a noticeable improvement in performance, but I did have one question that maybe someone can...

Pinball FX / FX3 on the Steam Deck discussion

This is the only way I know how to get the code. They have always replied quickly. https://zenstudios.com/home/pinball-cabinet-support-request/

    Guess the next Williams Table

This is promising news. I would guess that any heavy licensing will probably be skipped for the next few Williams tables. As ironic as it might seem, Scared Stiff might be a good contender; however, this might be held up for a release close to Halloween, though it is not usually something Zen...

Multiple FX Pinball announcements today, plus first looks!

Having similar experiences as others have been reporting. Mostly playing Indy, but I also played a few games of the free Mummy game with similar results. Serious lag with any frame rate syncing, either from the game's settings or through the Nvidia control panel. I have a 144Hz 2560x1440...

What video card are you using? Nvidia has a few options that might help.

The Bizarre Polarization of the Zen Pinball Online "Community"

It certainly is amusing. Personally, Zen's entire digital pinball catalog has been an incredible bargain and has provided me with an endless amount of entertainment. I'm really excited about the potential with Zen moving to the Unreal engine and what they feel is a less onerous business store...

Indiana Jones Pinball Adventure on FX3/Steam release on March 10th, 2022!

Just guessing about the flippers, but it might be an issue related to coding for the haptic feedback used with the shoulder buttons. Maybe it can be temporarily resolved by remapping to different buttons? The DualSense controller's haptic shoulder buttons might be more complex to utilize in a...

Indiana Jones Pinball Adventure on FX3/Steam release on March 10th, 2022!

From what I read, it seemed like Epic Games Store was releasing an early access to the new FX at the same time the Indy table will be released on Steam for FX3. I see that the table is unlocked in about 4 hours over on Steam, but I don't see any news other than "Coming Soon" at EGS. I'm sure I...

Pinball FX (4) is EPIC Exclusive and Unreal Engine

On the brighter side, I am excited that digital pinball in a mainstream format will continue to exist and advance. The consoles and mobile devices have much larger markets to consider, and while there are strings attached when developing for these, at least the platforms are relatively stable...

    FX3 backglass images

Tried different options to restrict or limit the FPS to 60Hz and could not seem to make it look acceptable visually. It was as if ball trails were on when it wasn't, especially when the ball was moving quickly. I'll have to live with any physics quirks, but I can't drop the near perfect g-sync...

    FX3 backglass images

I knew that was the case with the Pinball Arcade, and that was very obvious. I have a G-Sync monitor and I default everything in full screen or windowed mode to sync to my monitor's refresh rate, while also limiting the maximum frame rate by 3 frames to 141 FPS to account for any potential lag...

    FX3 backglass images

I never thought my cabinet mode was fully functioning or that maybe it would only work with a second monitor. I have a 32" 2K 144Hz g-sync monitor that rotates into portrait mode and tilts back about 30°. I always wanted to move the DMD off the main screen onto a second monitor. I found a...
