The lighting of a pinball machine is a major part of the pinball experience in real life. As it is now on PC, it falls rather flat, especially when you look at the PS4 version.
TPA on PC really needs similar graphics to the PS4, otherwise there really isn't much to set it apart from VP.
I'd love to know as well. Previously Farsight made it sound as though Xbone is essentially finished. If that's the case, then why can't they move on to DX11 and cab support? The PC version is about a year old now and they've been dangling these features like a carrot in front of us since day 1...
Wouldn't they make more money by just making it a timed demo and then pay to unlock like all the other tables? Are people really going to pay for tokens or for a day's access? I just don't see it happening...at all.
Well said. That's my feeling as well. I'd much rather see them devote these resources to adding new features and options (multiplayer, DX11 and cab on PC, difficulty options, etc, etc). For some reason they have it in their mind that only DLC brings in money, but that's just not the case.
I'VE GOT BALLS OF STEEL!
Used to play that one a ton back in the day...and of course you can't go wrong with Timeshock. Still the best pinball game on PC after all these years.
Just emailed him again and got a quick reply back:
"I asked Mike R and James for an update. They're both swamped, but DX11 should be high on the to-do list. I'll let you know when I have some kind of estimate."
So it doesn't sound like it'll be any time soon :/
