Everyone is so stoked for the used game ability and no online for single player games that it would seem all is forgiven for no backwards compatibility of PSN transfers! That's some good slight of hand misdirection right there. Shoot, most people are so happy, they're not even phased by having...
Hmmmm, good question. I'd argue that online multiplayer is completely different than online leaderboards, but most games that have leaderboards have true multiplayer too, unlike TPA which has none.
Jack shoulda just dropped the mic and walked off stage with that announcement.
No used game restrictions, no mandatory online, no mandatory PS Eye, and a hundred bucks cheaper?
Damn, game over.
However, I do realize there WILL be a version for sale with the eye that'll cost the same as Xbone...
And Sony just dropped the mic on MS.
I'll take the 100 bucks cheaper with a grain of salt, as obviously there'll be a version sold with the PS Eye, but the fact you DON'T need to buy it is something great.
Also, I'm bummed that online multiplayer will now cost a monthly fee. That being said...
I 'get' the price, in that $100 of that is for the Kinect you HAVE to buy, plus all the new hardware. But that's too damn much.
The graphics are not a big enough jump to make your eyes justify the price. Specs aren't sexy to the wallet. Now you have this price and the Wii U being $200...
Well, there's one other factor to consider...speed. Most EM tables are sloooooowww, and that is due to the angle of the slope. It's quite a different experience in person, where you can visually see the flatness, as opposed to the virtual world where it looks no different from the modern tables...
Yes and no. There are a lot of questions and a lot of hesitant buyers out there for the next gen. FarSight is very keen to keep as many people buying packs as possible, and if they shun all the PS3 owners in favor of a few PS4 owners, they might stand to lose them all. Realistically, there's...
Abra Cadabra
Atlantis
Centigrade 37
High Hand
Jacks Open
Jet Spin
Jumping Jack
King Pin
Space Time
Surf Champ
So my criteria was this...none of those little flippers, drop targets are more fun than stand ups, shots have to look like you can actually aim for them, ball return lanes are a must...
But Timelord, this is dtown8532's thread! My thread is the 'well now I have a table too'. Only thing I've done so far is depopulate the field. dtown is a lot farther than me!
I only recently played a Shadow machine for the first time, and wow was it brutal. Like 3 balls in 45 seconds brutal! I'm dying to try my hand at a real RBION. I know I did back in the day, but being clueless to what to do is the worst way to approach that table. Something tells me that center...
That planet pattern is so busy, yeah when playing nobody will even notice. My main wear spot is in the purplish section, not looking forward trying to recreate the silk screen dots! (cuz ya know I'm gonna try)
I did have a crazy thought for what would be an awesome mod. If I had the Adobe...
That's what I figured. The way the ball would eject and then bounce, just seemed completely wrong for a Ritchie table. Interesting that the star rollover is off from the art on yours the same as on mine. What about the lane guides at the FIRE inserts, are the screw holes centered up on yours...
A few more for ya, since I know you want it!
Weird how the screw holes there aren't centered with each other.
In this one, I have no idea if the nail is actually supposed to be there or not.
Pop bumpers gone! What a pain in the butt to remove them. Had to unsolder the wiring for the...
