Part of this thread tried to understand the video setting options; more speculation than hard facts.

If you can, demo the Mac Steam version for a performance comparison.

Same question from me about the Mac App Store version. I've got the pro version of both seasons that are no longer playable on my Mini since 3.1.0 (ball rolls like molasses) but the Steam version runs fine. Here's what Stuart posted in the FAQ on the Steam forum:
Q: Do my purchases transfer...
Fair enough, thanks for the reply. I'm going with the idea right now that's there's not a backup plan for Mac users in response to this news. I can see how you might not prefer it but one option is to have a season pass price version in the App Store, separate from the demo version.
I notice that the iOS version has a season 3 pass purchase button option that the Mac version lacks. But maybe the iTunes store works differently than the app store.
OK, I'm slow. I see the options of a standard or pro Fish Tales; clicking either one brings up the sign-in to download for the Apple Store, which implies I'll end up purchasing just that table. Am I misunderstanding this?
How do this work? The features list (below) mentions Mac as a platform on which you can purchase a video. While I see the link within the iOS app it's not jumping out to me on the Mac.
Pinball Video Pricing : Pinball Videos are available for individual purchase on Android, iOS, Kindle Fire...
Looks the same to me. I still have the same issue on my Mini where anti-aliasing set to OFF is the best performance (but poor-looking) and changing it to anything else makes it unplayable due to flipper lag and ball issues. Once AA is changed it then no longer recognizes the OFF setting and...
Every time I load TPA I get only a subset of my tables - restoring purchases only brings some of them back and then they're gone again the next time I load the program.
I noticed with the most recent update that two games that were previously locked out with the Duo Controller (that weren't supposed to be locked) are unlocked: Snow and Da Vinci. I hadn't used the controller for a while so maybe this had previously been corrected.
A wood cabinet for the final version would've been nice but I seriously lack the ability to cut a straight line. Luckily I found a project box that pretty much meets my needs (Hammond 1595E). The size made button placement and wiring slightly challenging but it all works out. I do like the...
Posting here as my goal was to build a Mac-compatible arcade controller to use in lieu of a keyboard for desktop play. The end result is nothing fancy but it's a definite improvement over my tiny Mac keyboard (the HP in the pic is a PS/2 used for programming - more below).
The heart of this...
True, they have their "classic" software versions still up at prices discounted from the original MSRP. Only the three most recent are still compatible with the current Mac OS and none have been updated like Tristan and CC. I've read that neither of those titles have sold well outside of...
CB, I'd like to know this as well! Until someone more knowledgeable drops by I started by looking up the terms. I get the feeling that these are all fairly standard options with regard to graphic card settings, at least as is usually supported in various gaming applications (so not really...
