I wonder if this CV lag problem is happening mostly for those PCs that are using AMD/ATI graphics. There has also been discussion of the problem in the "DX11 Public Beta Now Available" thread.
On my AMD R7770, I am having terrible lag with Cirqus V even when the Ringmaster is not up, and even when Event camera is off. Although I haven't tested all the tables yet under DX11 (I also own them all), so far Cirqus is the only table I have seen this lag on. It sometimes takes the ball a...
Larry, I am using the regular non-Beta AMD Catalyst Download (which for my 64bit Windows 7 can be gotten to at: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/desktop?os=Windows+7+-+64)
Currently, it's tagged there as Catalyst Software Suite, Revision Number Omega 4.12, Release Date 12/8/2014. And then...
Yes, same here. Many other complex tables work for me in DX11 without any lag using the default TPA Configuration settings and even higher. But in Cirqus Voltaire, the ball is crawling.
Based on the specs, I see that your 7950 is quite a bit more powerful than my 7770.
I am using and LG23EA63 monitor with 1920x1080.
I haven't found a way yet to do a screen shot to capture the problem.
hi Biff,
Thanks for the advice. But when I try your settings in AMD Catalyst Control Center and in TPA DX11 config, the subsequent results appear identical to what I had before. I am still getting the same display problems in the same places on Addams Family, for example. When I use your AMD...
Hi Larry or anyone else using an ATI/AMD Radeon card (particularly the 7770 which is the one Larry and I are using),
What settings are you using in the AMD Catalyst Center and in the TPA DX11 Config tab to get the least amount of shimmering and pixelation?
I have been mainly using Addams...
I just saw the Kickstarter email, 'Project Update #15: Pinball Arcade: The Addams Family by FarSight Studios", that shows Addams Family, Earthshaker, and Party Zone with screenshots which (I think) were all taken on PS4. Wow, those displays look nice. I look forward to when the PC version...
I also have the two bumpers set to left and right flippers, and I've done that within TPA's own Controller Settings. As that seems closer to me to pinball flipper buttons than the triggers. But also, in case I want to experiment with a rarer slap-save, I also have the two triggers mapped...
Way back when TPA for PC was in Beta, in Aug. 2013 Karl had started the Beta sub-forum thread at http://digitalpinballfans.com/showthread.php/5430-No-Pinball-Wizard-Support?p=96012&viewfull=1#post96012 asking about TPA support for the "Pinball Wizard" from Nanotech. The current manufacturer...
Exact same issue for me too. Online to Amazon from my computer it's there, but it's showing as incompatible with my family's Kindle Fire HDX and incompatible with our Samsung Galaxy S3 phone (which has the Google Play version on in it in my case too). Then from each of those devices, plus also...
Since my Kindle Fire is not rooted, it of course gets any TPA tables I purchase though Amazon. But I recently also got an Android Phone. Since I already had some of the TPA Tables purchased through AMazon, I put TPA on that Android Phone also though Amazon Store (rather than though Google Play...
