Ok, I have found a workaround. After I have entered my initials, and then after the entire list of high scores/initials are displayed, if I click the Continue button the controls then do not freeze. The freeze occurs when I click the Back button instead of the Continue button. Does anyone know...
This just happened to me with Tales of the Arabian Night (TOTAN) as well. After entering my initials, I have hit the Back button and then after it went back to table the frozen controls occurred here too to me. This time showing Williams information.
Twice now, after I earned a score high enough to make it to high scores, I saved my 3 initials. It then displayed my initials and totals with those of other players' initials and high scores. Then it came back into the same table, and my problem began. At that point, I could not get any game...
Here is how I rotated/leaned my monitor without a stand :) : http://digitalpinballfans.com/showthread.php/6305-PC-hardware-s-quot-screen-rotation-quot-to-Portait-mode-feature-with-TPA?p=111416&viewfull=1#post111416
I have only done that with my very light LED montior, and not sure I can...
Thanks Larry, that worked great for me with just one monitor. I could not get two monitors to both display at the same time, even after trying various combinations.
But with one flipped monitor it was really nice. I used what I had described in my post here to set up the Windows rotation...
Can someone please tell me the steps to set up the portrait mode. For example I see in the Configuration Utility "1920 x 1080", but I don't see the "1080 x 1920". So I'm not sure what I need to set up in Configuration Utility, what (if anything) I have to do on my PC itself other than rotating...
Over in your Portland, Oregon area, you may be able to find great deals on name brand TVs that last more than a short time. In fact I'd check the paper or online for the everchanging local ads. Including the ads for Fred Meyer (that's in your area where it was founded), which often has some...
From those specs I read the other day, you have a great computer, Frank. Enjoy!
P.S. That new PC of yours has an HDMI port. If you have a High Def TV with an HDMI input that's a lot larger screen than your PC's monitor, you might want to try it on your HD TV too sometimes. I did and it's...
I have never owned a Pro Table before, but I love TPA for PC version so much that I bought both Season 1 and Season 2 Packs in Pro. I really don't know what I am doing yet in Operators Menu, but I do see the Reset button. From this recent thread...
Thanks for your input SqueakyG. I hope I wasn't confusing with my earlier posts, but the version that works so well isn't from a few years ago. The version that works well, Display Driver version 9.12, is dated Dec. 19, 2012. I found the release notes on the AMD site for this one...
I use an "Xbox 360 Wireless Controller for Windows" from Microsoft. Here is Microsoft's site for it (but I bought it from another place) which says it works with both Windows PCs and with Xbox 360:

The receiver...
I have been able to test back and forth between AMD Display Driver 9.12.0.0 and 13.250.18.0 (by using Automatically Search For Updated Driver (since I had it installed once), and the reverse by Rolling Back Driver). I have discovered that as long as I turn off AntiAliasing and PostProcessing...
By the way, Jeff or anyone that can answer. Is it possible for me to insert an image directly into my post (without doing it as a URL). I went through some of the general forum information, and I wasn't clear on that. (Earlier, I was going to post a screenshot of my System Information of my...
For me, AMD Display Driver 9.12.0.0 ALSO dramatically better than 13.250.18.0
You great folks have resolved one mystery. I went back to look at the downloads I had on my PC. The Beta I had was indeed wrong. I had somehow downloaded the mobility beta (amd_catalyst_13.11_mobility_betav9.2.exe)...
Prior to some changes today, I hadn't updated my AMD Display Driver in a very very long time. (I didn't know it at first, but I found out later that prior to my changes today, I had been using "AMD Display Driver" with Version "9.12.0.0", and date of 12/9/2012.) Although my performance with...
Frank, I am also using an HD R7770 (in my case an MSI), and the rest of my overall specs are probably less than that Cybertron you linked to. (Mine is an Intel I5 CPU, but with only 6 GB of RAM unlike your 8GB.) At any rate TPA is flying for me, and I have a feeling it's because of that R770...
I had been experimenting, and as near as I can tell this is how things are configured by default in TPA for PC. (Please anyone let me know if you feel that I am mistaken about any of the following):
1) Controller defaults - Left Joystick is used for nudging in all 4 directions.
a) Then tapping...
