Oh interesting, I didn't even try to buy it on Steam a few days ago because of the Newsletter announcement and this thread. Then yesterday I saw in this thread that it was available on Steam, so I assumed it had been just been added back recently. So yesterday, with joy I promptly bought Season...
Wow, MWink and Epsy, after I saw your posts below mine, I fired up my PC TPA. I found that Season 3 Pack and Pro Pack were both available to buy from directly within TPA. I then checked out the Steam Store, and they were available for me to buy there as well, as MWink had mentioned. I quickly...
I had thoroughly planned to buy Season 3 Pro Pack for PC, like I had for Seasons 1 and 2. But I had gotten too busy with work, and hadn't had an opportunity to do anything related to TPA recently. Then I finally have a chance again to play and buy Season 3 Pass the last couple of days, and I...
Hi Frank. I agree with Jeff, you're one of my favorites here too. You have always tried to bring a positive slant in your posts. Frank, like we discussed in one of our PMs together last year, DX11 will be coming to TPA and bringing even more fun to all of us! I can't wait to read your posts...
Bug still found in 1.20.4: After entering in initials on high score screen, Back button goes back to table but no in-game controls (controller, mouse, or keyboard) I can find work after that. So no way to exit table at that point without using CTRL-ESC and killing TPA from task manager or task...
I was evaluating whether or not I wanted to use this staged flipper feature on not. As a result, I am now wondering why such a small number as 5% was chosen for this feature. With my XBOX controller on the PC, it's hard for me to limit to such a small push of the triggers. In fact at first I...
I really like the Portrait mode with TPA on the PC. But I am finding that on some (but not all tables), when the DMD is turned on it blocks the view of some of the fun stuff on the upper portion of the table playfield.
For example on Monster Bash, none of the Camera Views I can find allows me...
Here is a way I think that someone can install older driver (without total Windows reinstall), then reinstall newer driver again, then go back and forth at will:
1) remove your current driver using these AMD instructions...
If that bug is the same problem I had reported, here is my workaround I had later posted (using continue button instad of back button): http://digitalpinballfans.com/showthread.php/6497-All-controls-frozen-after-entering-my-initials-am-I-doing-something-wrong?p=114885&viewfull=1#post114885

Frank, with or witout pink hue, I hope you were able to get TPA working in Portrait mode with that flip monitor you posted that you were given. In my case, I am liking my 23inch monitor (which is laying on it's side) when played in portrait, about as well as my 46in TV that has to be in...
Netizen, Thank you! I just started wondering if that's were I had heard it! As using a web search can find just about anything but that. Regardless of where it was, I am glad you recall something about this too from FS, so I know I did not imagine it. :)
I saw something fairly recently about this with a response from FarSight. It could have been in Facebook cause I can't find it in our forum. Someone asked if they were having a problem with their own hardware, as there was so much pink in Star Trek Next Generation. If I recall, FS responded...
I continue to have a very good picture in TPA with virtually no jaggies, with PP=On, AA=16, and Reflections=High, as long as I use the old AMD Version 9.12/9.012 driver (which I think is from around Sept. 2012). (I am not finding any benefit with RadeonPro as I have no flipper delay.) In the...
DrainoBraino and RetroDude, your two most recent posts were awesome. JenniferS, I hope you stay.
P.S. Personally my TPA scores were never that good. But now that I am on the PC version, with a controller, I am getting a lot better. Plus now I plan on actually studying the instructions, table...
In general, one of the nice things for an active Beta Software Tester is that the particular environment combination they personally own (their hardware, its installed drivers, environment variables, etc) is less likely to have problems/issues/bugs with that Software when it's eventually...
I am interested in what the various folks are using for their home made cabinets, mini cabinets, and fake mini cabinets (as in this thread :) ) for buttons on the two sides of those cabinets. I am using a single wireless XBOX controller with my PC, but that's not the same as tapping pinball...
Retro Invaders - what controller(s) are you using for your flipper buttons, and for your other buttons? Are you using more than one controller at a time so you can reach both sides of your mini cab?
Unfortunately, there is something wrong with that first thread that Biff posted. (The URL itself is valid as even through Google I got an invalid thread error.)
As far as that second thread, I started that one. I have found since then that MSI (which manufactured my video card with the AMD...
Bug: After entering High Score initials, and then using Back button, all controls Freeze up (XBOX 360 controlller, Mouse, Keyboard). The only way to even exit TPA at that point is to do CTRL-Escape, and kill TPA from Windows Task Manager or from Task bar.
OS Version: Windows 7 64-bit...
