The BK and BK2000 that I've played both grabbed the ball hard and held it centrally for a few seconds, you didn't have to hold the button in from my memory.

Damn it! I said it was a stupid question, thought I'd tried everything...lol. Actually I did find an actual fault while trying to figure this out, the instructions are for the mobile version, referring to the red buttons on the screen.
Probably a stupid question but how do you Magna save on ps4? I would assume it's the x button but that doesn't seem to work for me. There's no mention of it in the settings that I can see.
I love dark mode but think there needs to be more control as some tables are too dark, MM for example looks daft with virtually no light in the center of the playfield. Granted there is no GI there but still. Also, at least on my TV, you can forget about skillshots in dark mode on tables where...
The PS button on the controller doesn't pause the game as it does in the few other PS4 games I have. If you are used to pausing this way from other games and you do this you will find the ball drained while you were away. The options button does pause the game.
As the title says the powerball is just a normal ball, not sure if it's physics are any different as I shot it straight back into the gumball machine but it looks like an ordinary ball. I believe this happened with the first release of the IOS version too.
