How many balls?
When I got my Getaway last year I left it on 3 balls and not giving out extra balls for replays and specials. My thinking being there's no point making it any easier as its a home machine and I want the challenge to last as long as possible. Now recently I visited someone with a great collection...- Kevlar

Pulled the power driver board out today, replace the dodgy transistor and refitted. The replacement coil I ordered didn't arrive today so not fully tested yet but it was nice to see the machine work after removing and refitting the board. Sorry about the crap photo, S4 is coming tomorrow! :D- Kevlar

The event was fun yes, I only went on the Saturday. He didn't bring the Firepower in the end, not sure if he took it on the Sunday. It was nice for me to play a few more pins, I have very little experience of real pinball machines although I've got to play a few lately.- Kevlar

Seems my euphoria with this pin didn't last long, the coil that resets the drop targets on the battlefield burnt out today. I've ordered a new one but yet to find the cause. Probably the transistor that drives the coil but it seems to test ok with my limited knowledge. I will be very careful...- Kevlar

One thing I've noticed is the sound is so much better on the shadow than on the getaway. Is the shadow DCS and the getaway not?- Kevlar

Well if I kicked the pc desk out and the 37"+ Xbox I could fit 5 in there no problem, maybe even 6 but then I'd have to find a new wife too. If you look closely you can see her peeking over my Getaway keeping an eye on me.- Kevlar
