Yup, it's being talked about over at vpforums too http://www.vpforums.org/index.php?showtopic=25657
Hadn't heard anything about them potentially showing it off on a cabinet at the Chicago Pinball Expo though. That's big news!
Good news on the cabinet front! Love to see them get that functionality up and running. Would be amazing if they eventually allowed for force feedback (ledwiz) support too!
Seems to me as if he was saying HE'S not a pinball savvy person. Looks to me like just an innocent question as to why Corvette hasn't been suggested as a possibility.
Had a weird one today on Tee'd Off. Got a high score and ran into the slow initial entry as expected. I was able to get all three entered in time, just entering the third one as time expired. At that point a new game immediately started and all buttons were unresponsive so I had to Force Quit...
One of my all-time favorite tables! There has been chatter about it here on the forums from time to time, but never anything from Farsight as far as I know. I would hope that it will get on the radar at some point since it finished in the top ten in its poll.
Probably because most of us like the table and want to see it in TPA? I actually enjoy the table quite a bit. Love the sounds AND the music.
It's a bright, colorful and fairly well known table. Seems like it would be a good headliner for a table pack.
Hmmm, I actually like Dr. Dude. Guess I'm one of the few! Suppose it's a nostalgia thing since it was one of the pins I had the opportunity to play when I was younger.
I'd definitely be interested in a New England (and surrounding area) meetup.
I was surprised they don't have an Attack From Mars (no Moster Bash either right?), but since they're both pricey tables, I do undrstand. I haven't had a chance to play Black Hole there either as it's always been out...
Great write up Nightwing! Sorry I missed you at TPWA a few weeks back (that'll teach me to pay attention to my PMs!). I couldn't agree more about Funspot. Took my son and some of his friends there a few years ago for a birthday party and couldn't believe how many of the machines didn't work...
How does it look vs the same tables from VP (I know it might be hard to compare due to the different screen orientations)? I'm interested to see how TPA will match up as I'm in the (very) early stages of building a cabinet myself.
