As far as OP goes, when I first started TPA or real pins in my dim and distant youth I did terribly. Still do but with practice rewards do come. Draino is right, learn the rules, keep calm and keep trying.

Appears to quit the game after entering initials and table goals aren't registering either. Anyone else experiencing this??

^^ agree totally with Jared here... As Pin Wiz has said in other threads, hold fire and judgement until we hear more. PW has said there is light at the end of the tunnel and lots of good stuff to come.
Criticism has been seen at FS releasing too many too fast. Looks like that's being addressed...
In the 60’s and 70’s Chris, many a BBC director, producer cut their teeth with Dr Who. Script editors too with the likes of Robert Holmes and Douglas Adams.
It was seen at that time as pioneering new ways to produce long running serials from an innovation standpoint and as value for money...
I have to say that despite what I imagined this to be, this table is really growing on me. Not played the real thing though. The cue ball appears to have real weight to it. Modes come thick and fast. I do play with the sound down as I found the speech getting a tad repetitive.

Agreed Goo but I would say that even though the last couple of packs haven't appeared to blow my skirt up, I still agree with many on the forum that firstly the value for money is excellent, and secondly, it's allowed my to play pins I would probably walk past.
