I actually like the zooming in. Nice that FS included the option to switch it off though, one of those very rare occassions where they can please everyone.
That brings back memories - walls of pins lined up side by side.
For the first time in nearly 2 decades I found and played a couple of tables I found on holiday last year. That's how bad it is in the UK. Sadly, one of them was Star Wars Episode 1. I got 5 credits for £1 and couldn't be bothered...
Each to their own, but it seems a bit silly to me to stop buying a game you enjoy (enough to join a fan forum) because there are no more trophies, unless you mean you're just quitting the PS4 version and continuing on another format. I like going for trophies, but I'm mainly into the games...
One thing you haven't figured in yet is that nothing from season 3 is available on any PlayStation platform in the EU yet. How much that will affect the figures remains to be seen.
Found the quote that caused the Kickstarter confusion (for me at least):
If we can raise the remaining $59,000 we’ll be able to digitize Terminator 2: Judgment Day and preserve one of the greatest pinball tables of all time. If we don't reach our goal no credit cards will be charged, but if we...
I don't think the EU was included when they mentioned the release date. I think we should blame FS for everything. I'm currently trying to pin WW2 on them, and their contribution to world hunger is unforgivable.
Speaking for myself, I'm not being impatient, just agreeing with a statement regarding something FS has said in the past. The Addams Family comes to TPA or it doesn't, life goes on either way and I'll enjoy whatever pins we get. That said, it would be awesome :D.
No, Wednesday.
Officially no new tables for us this week, so the doors are open for complaining. Personally I don't think is worth raising your blood pressure over. Sure it's disappointing, but the tables will come, and in the mean time, there's more to life than TPA :D
OK, a suggestion here, not a bug: Wouldn't it be an idea to be able to map the plunger to the touchpad? I find plunging with the sticks terrible, the pad would give much improved control (like on tablets). To be honest, I was surprised this wasn't implemented already, seems like a no brainer...
I went back to Zen a couple of months back and played Tesla. Ended up quitting after playing for ages without threat of a single drain. Physics seem so off after TPA for my taste too.
I totally agree on all points (I confess to having about 13 platinums), I just don't think it's the be all and end all. As I posted earlier, its a shame some people claim they'll no longer buy tables without trophies. Surely playing the game is where the true fun lies, and trophies/achievements...
As with all things, it's each to their own. I do enjoy going for the trophies, but going for high scores is where I get my TPA kicks (usually a kick in the nuts when I fail). I just find it a shame when people say they won't buy any more tables without trophies, but again, to each their own.
