Had a halfway decent game the other night but the score never showed up on the leaderboard. Tried to access the leaderboard itself and got a connection error. Other tables worked just fine. Anybody else seen this?

I don't do nearly as much retro gaming as I used to. I love modern updates of old games - Pac-Man Championship DX and Galaga Legions are great - but generally play just new games. I'll occasionally fire up MAME when I need my Time Pilot fix though. I do love to read about old games though - I...
I hate, hate, hate that, too. I've had several "did 'em once, can't do 'em again" wizard goals that didn't unlock because I hadn't finished the standard ones yet. Also hate that you can't see what the standard goals are after you've completed them. I recently re-completed all the Big Shot...
I would guess I'm somewhere in the top 1000 or so, at least among console players. I'm terrible at some tables - TOTAN, RBION, and some others - but decent at a few like Funhouse and AFM. You'll never see me posting about marathon games or tables being too easy, that's for sure.
Inspired by the "which game did you complete Wizard Goals on first?" thread, I ask this:
What's the fastest you've completed Wizard Goals on a particular table? The absolute minimum is two games - anybody else done that? Closest I've come is Central Park, which took me three games. I...
Another thing to keep in mind is that we're not talking about modifications to the game code itself inside the ROM. All we're really talking about is the high score table(s) and maybe one or two other storage areas. Changing the values in those places shouldn't cause issues with the ROMs. The...
I don't know that TPA has changed my mind on any tables from real life as very few of the tables in the game have I actually played in real life. The one that I most remember - Funhouse - that's in TPA, my opinion hasn't changed one iota.
I see lots of people mentioning RBION. I, too, am...
After several tries on the PS3 with this table, I gave up. Hated the look, hated the physics, hated the drain-happy outlanes that you can't see, hated the controls, all of it. Gave it another shot on the PS4, though - and I like it. I suspect that it plays more like the pre-changed PS3 as it...
The plungers is definitely something that has been tweaked between versions. In the PS4 version of Scared Stiff, for example, a full plunge doesn't get you the skill shot every time like on PS3. I kinda miss that :)
Picked this up last night - the Barcelona table. Why Barcelona? Why not? I don't have any rooting interest in Euro football at all, so I basically just picked a random team :)
As for the table itself, I'm kinda torn on it. On the one hand, it does a pretty good job of integrating the...
Quite frankly, I don't believe this explanation from Farsight. I *highly* doubt that the ROMs do continual integrity checks on themselves. I would think that Farsight could find a time in the launch sequence when the ROM integrity check has been completed and inject the saved values into...
