I agree with pretty much all of the criticisms. That's one reason I like Sorcerer's Lair so much - the scoring is balanced and makes sense. It's also the closest thing to a real pinball table in the whole series.
I hate Tesla. So much of the actual scoring takes a ridiculous number of things to happen while 99% of what you're doing gets you nothing. Add in that it's just a not good table...
That said, I like a lot of the Zen tables. I just hate the four originals that came with the PS3 version...
First of all, so happy to see an actual changelog for the new update. Very cool.
Secondly, I'm looking forward to opinions on the PS4 versions of Fish Tales and Black Rose. At $5 a pop, I'm a lot less inclined to just buy every table where I bought 'em all on PS3, sight unseen. Especially if...
Trophies and achievements are cool because they either force you to do things you otherwise might not have or they reward you for fun stuff. Like there's a trophy in Assassin's Creed 4 for "waking up in a haystack", which can only be done by getting drunk in a bar and passing out. Probably not...
Not that it matters much but I work in QA in the software industry and I would say that "wizard goals that don't correctly trigger 100% of the time" is most definitely a bug.
You were fine. You said in your original comment "for most players" 3D is useless. That is a 100% accurate statement that should not offend those who play in 3D or want 3D.
I gotta be honest - there's probably 500 things I'd want them looking at before they do anything to address any art issues on the backglasses. They aren't any part of gameplay (except stuff like the one Elvira game where the backglass is in play) and you hardly look at them at all. Spend the...
Maybe true but the one most asked-for - improved sound - isn't any work at all. Just replace the sample files from the PS4 with ones from the PC. Boom, done.
I definitely think the entire game could use a coating of polish, particularly on the PS4 version. Fix the sound, update the UI to something modern, replace the god-awful "Pinball Wizard" sample in the title screen, and give us the most-basic of options (being able to change controller buttons...
Near as I can tell, the first Nintendo game for the 2600 came out after the first Activision one. From everything I've ever heard, Activision is considered the first 3rd party developer, at least for home consoles.
I've been playing the heck out of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag on the PS4. Incredible game, one of the best I've ever played. Amazing depth, detail, and breadth. I am almost done, however. After I'm finished, I'll probably go back to finishing Batman: Arkham Asylum on the PS3. Maybe try...
I was top 100 for about 30 seconds on Whitewater if I recall correctly. Top 100 on Funhouse for a little bit longer though my best score was achieved while offline :(. Now comfortably in the top 500 on a few tables.
I only get mad when the ball drains despite me making a shot I'm supposed to make. Those tick me off. Or when the ball drains because of TPA-specific nonsense like bad physics or the ball going through the flipper.
Infamous is out today. Getting great reviews so far.
I've been playing the heck out of Assassin's Creed 4. That game is awesome. Such a huge, beautiful, detailed world. There's just soooooo much in the game. Major improvement over AC3 and the best in the series since AC2, my personal...
