For whatever reason, the goal recognition on Funhouse is terrible. Farsight claims to have code that watches for the triggers, such as the Gulp, in order to complete the goals. Well, the Gulp is a very obvious trigger - it executes a certain piece of code in the game's ROM and plays a certain...
I'm hoping the stretch goal isn't another table as has been done in the past. That's not exactly an incentive for me. Why would I increase my pledge to get, say, TSPP, when I could probably pledge that same amount on a TSPP kickstarter and get the actual table as a reward?
No, I'd rather...
They've already said it'll be "E". The DLC can't exceed the original game's rating (which is "E"). That's the reason Farsight has mentioned doing a separate Pinball After Dark for risque titles.
Thank you for saying this. I noticed the terrible sound on the PS4 version literally the first time I launched the game. I can't fathom how Farsight could possibly be unable to find the problem - especially since they admitted that they swapped the audio files. How can they now say they can't...
I don't know that Zen has ever officially published a full list. However, as mentioned, all tables other than Ninja Gaiden can be transferred. If that's not enough info, I suppose I could fire up my PS4 and make a list of all the tables installed on there :)
Inspired by this thread, I played about 20 games of 9-ball against a computer opponent last night. A couple more complaints that I'd forgotten when making my last post - there are waaaaaaaaay too many scratches and balls off the table in this. Some of that undoubtedly is me but a lot of it...
I've played a bit of Pure Pool and I like it. It looks incredible. My main complaint is that the view is so zoomed in that is really hard to aim shots of any length at all.
Returned to playing TPA on my PS4 last night after some time away from it. I was quickly reminded of an annoyance that simply baffles me - the analog sticks don't work in the menus, forcing you to use the d-pad to make menu selections. This is contrary to what pretty much every other game does...
Looks like we have a several month wait yet for season 2 on PS4. From the news thread:
And we know the PS4 gets season 2 a month after the Xbone. So... October at the earliest.
Dead serious.
Attack From Mars was released in 1995 - when I was living in a small town in northwest Colorado, far from any pinball machines. In 1998, I moved to Spokane, WA, a town with pretty limited pinball options. I didn't exactly keep up on real pinball news or machines, just digital...
For me, it's Attack From Mars. Prior to TPA, I'd never heard of the game so wasn't familiar with it at all. Knew nothing about it. Fired it up, didn't expect much at all. Now it's easily my most-played table.
