Raiden Project was actually the very first game I bought for my PS1. Got a ton of enjoyment out of that. I sold that a long time ago. I bought another copy of it a few months back and play it occasionally on my PS3. It holds up really well. The game is now something of a rarity and sells...
Another shmup guy here as well, though I'm not a bullet hell player. Raiden 3 and 4, Resogun, Soldner, etc are more my style. I'm a PS3/PS4 guy and there's lots of games in XBLA that I wouldn't mind having...
I thought it was pretty terrible. There's roughly a million plot holes, the effects look incredibly dated and belong in the 80s, etc. And I thought some of the acting was laughably terrible.
Finally got around to trying these on my PS4 after having them installed for over a week. These, at first blush anyway, appear to be fantastic tables. These are so much better than the V12/Shaman/etc core pack for Zen 1, it's unreal. Waaaaaaay more detailed, better playing, just...better...
As I recall, they actually did two versions of the game, the second being a higher resolution edition.
A bit of trivia: Amtex also had the home rights to Funhouse and included a little teaser for it on a screen inside EBD. I remember being incredibly excited for it only for it to never get...
I then click on the "See All" link that screenshot above. Then, I click on the "PS3" checkbox on the left of the next screen and pick "Release Date (Newest First)" in the "Sort By" dropdown. And there's season 3:
Didn't think you were being a jerk :)
What browser are you using? I'm having no trouble typing in the entire name "Pinball Arcade" into the search bar at the top (using Chrome as a browser). Pressing enter then gives me a display that says there are 228 results in the "Game" category. Just...
I found the season 3 pass in the store on Tuesday by doing a search for "Pinball Arcade". I just hit the "See All" link and then sorted by release date.
I think V12 is garbage, same as the other three "core" tables. Just terrible. The scoring is a mess, the layout is terrible, the shots are difficult, you name it. The whole table is just awful
I only played "Super Sweet" but thought it was great. Had a lot of fun, was able to light up several special modes and get a couple multiballs. Easily my favorite new Zen table in quite awhile.
I'm of the right age to have grown up on the Billy Idol version and knew it was a cover. It was mentioned constantly back when Idol released his version.
I know the dirty lyrics too :)
