The visuals look very 90s PC game, imo, so I hope they work on that before release. Hopefully it does well for them and doesn't detract from resources used for TPA.
Seems to play nicely. I was worried that the captive ball would be too easy or safe leading to long grinds through the boat awards a la Funhouse, but that doesn't seem to be the case, at least upon my first impression. Even with only a few games however, there is issues with the table getting...
BK and BK2K are radically different games, even more say than say, HS and HS2. I'm not a huge BK2K fan myself (except the sound package!) but I definitely think it's a good choice for TPA.
That picture is a huge improvement imo. Does this mean they will change the garish front screen after you open the game (on mobile, can't speak to console)?
Definitely dependent on the machine- one of the ones here in Denver you can very easily live catch on the left or even dead bounce to the right to backhand the fast cast on the right. I hope the kickout is not that friendly in TPA.
I used to play BK2K games with friends for cash where you could only play the game with your right hand on the right flipper. Don't miss, or hope to god that if you do you can bounce pass from the left. Very fun.
If you are new to TPA, practice post passes and dead bounces. Because live/drop catches are iffy in TPA, I pretty much dead bounce at every possible opportunity, then post pass if the ball is on wrong flipper for my next shot.
Tough crowd. Sounds like right now people are just throwing around ideas, the guy doing the code hasn't even confirmed anything yet. I think it's a great idea, NGG is a game that has potential and the code just isn't there in my opinion. It's an enormous undertaking on his part as well.
If they did do Fireball II, fingers crossed, I wonder how they would implement the little demon post on mobile while still maintaining the up nudge and not having the button for the center post off in the middle of nowhere like the original magna save on Black Knight.
I love Fireball II. It gets way upstaged by Fireball, which is a shame. I think a Fireball/Fireball II pack would be great, the games are so different that it would work (if FS is still going to do packs).
