It's not that it's too late, it's that Metal wasn't even around, let alone devices that were capable of using it. The use of Metal in iOS has only been around for what, a year or so? And only the newest devices support it:
Apple A8 GPU:
iPad Air 2 Wi-Fi
iPad Air 2 Wi-Fi + Cellular
iPhone 6 and...
I remember an alternate rendering option a couple of years ago with older versions of TPA...what the hell was it called now? It basically dumped performance through the floor and made any table virtually unplayable. Unless FS can do something with lighting that will retain playability and...
No issues here regarding TPA force-closing on either an iPad Air 2 or an iPad mini 2. Both are on iOS 8.3.
If deleting just the table did not help, try the following (listed in the order of trying to preserve your data)
1. Try resetting your device:
Device Reset (won't affect...
Probably something silly like maybe something to do with leaderboards and maybe getting notified when someone beats your high score...developers are creative and adding all kinds of "features" for the watch, regardless if the "feature" is useful or not.
I think a lot of these recent delays caused by the Apple app approval system are caused by the many apps being re-coded to add Apple Watch functionality (AWF). All of these apps need to be approved by Apple before they're released to the App Store. With all of the new/updated apps being released...
I don't think so...I've never seen anything like that.
After trying the steps I posted above and seeing as the issue is only affecting your Season Two purchase makes me think the issue is on Farsight's end. I also remember reading another post here where the user had the same issue with a...
1. Try to restore your purchases within TPA: Options/Restore Purchases
2. Make sure you are running the TPA version (paid or free) under which you purchased the season
3. Sign out of your Farsight account, close off TPA from multitasking, reset the device as below, sign back in to your FS...
This affects the Animoog app for me, personally. The timbres (purchased, user-created, downloaded, etc) are stored in a "caches" folder which gets wiped out on a device restore or if you run one of those "memory cleaning" apps on the iDevice. Because the timbres are in a "caches" folder, they...
The newly released iOS 8.3 breaks connectivity & functionality between iOS devices and any software you may have that will allow you to access the iOS file system, especially in each app's "documents" folder. Programs like iFunBox, iTools and similar programs no longer work for the purpose that...
Anybody have a link to something that shows you what the TAF ball pack actually looks like? It's odd that nothing is shown in the TPA app at all...in essence, you are buying blind (unless I'm missing something).
TAF Kickstarter backers list is in the app as well. If you're a bronze backer and are near the end of the alphabet, be prepared for a long scroll (you can speed it up by pressing the screen).
Agreed. You're just going to get a wide variety of answers by the others here based on a wide variety of tastes.
For single tables, I personally like Junk Yard and TAF...but there's no guarantee that you will.
I own all on iOS with the exception of Harley. Some are Pro versions but I don't own all of those that are available. On PS3, I own 5 or 6. My poll answer was "all of them", even if I am missing just one table on iOS.
I'm glad PS3 isn't my main and only system for TPA...I'm enjoying TAF on both iOS (main) and Steam. I'm waiting for the PS3 tables as well since I Kickstarted at the $30 level and got three systems but I feel for those who have to wait it out.
