Have it scroll vertically with my mouse wheel. Default to my current tables, instead of marketing new tables. After all, it's pretty tough to miss the icon changing every time that the app updates. Yes, I know that ST:TNG is available.
That is two obvious user-friendliness problems with the Mac version. It should default to fullscreen, and it should have a more intuitive way to toggle fullscreen. Why not Cmd-F? Why not a fullscreen widget in the upper-right? Another popular iOS port, Pocket Planes, at least has the widget.
I can honestly say that I had never heard of Dr. Dude until it was previously announced for PA. I've played hundreds of tables via Virtual Pinball, so that is an odd one. It's highly-rated, so I look forward to a new experience.
Firepower is important historically. I played it a ton around the...
I'm 53, and I tell people that I minored in pinball in college. That would have been the wide-body era. My favorite pinball is still Paragon, a wonderful example of a wide-body.
Device/OS: Mac OS 10.8.2
Bug Description: Clicking on the Tournament button tells me that I need to update the program. I'm obviously using the latest version.
Steps To Reproduce: As above
Frequency: 100%
Still needs obvious Mac-specific tweaks. The navigation is a straight port from iOS. It launches in windowed mode with no preference to launch full screen. I can't reconfigure the controls to make use of my extended keyboard.
Still happening on the latest Mac version.
This does not seem to happen for Big Shot. Could it be a timing issue with the ROM emulation (which Big Shot obviously does not have?)
I'm not surprised by the top four, but the next few are shocking. CftBL is amusing, but it's way too easy to be a top table. I suppose it is pretty high on the IPDB list. I'm pleasantly surprised to see Big Shot, currently at position seven. I would have guessed that people would have been...
Just wanted to second that this table desperately needs analog noise at new game (resetting the wheels) and also when scoring. The simulation is incomplete without it.
"It's a great day for racing" is Indianapolis 500. You can hear it for yourself, about 15 seconds into this video (from Visual Pinball.)

Now you've got me wanting a basketball-themed table featuring Vitale's voice. It would obviously be called March Madness. That NCAA licensing would be expensive, though.
A tip on the left plunger
I'm playing this on Mac, and there is a design under the machine (carpeting, I guess) that has proven most useful. For the left plunger, there is no plunger guide. The design on the carpeting helps me to gauge where the plunger is as I shoot for the lowest step.
I'd like to see more EM and 1980s tables. This isn't just nostalgia for the old pros. The PA should be preserving good tables, regardless of units sold or popularity. I realize that you can't completely ignore popularity, but a table that plays well will get good word of mouth.
Pinballs that...
Quit talking and start chalking
Eight Ball Deluxe is one classic table (note the quote in my signature) and it gets my vote. Unlike Big Shot, EBD correctly forces you to sink the 8-ball after you sink 7 balls. The ramps are used wisely for this game, and the penalty for hitting a post near a...
Skill Shot, and more
There is no official skill shot in Big Shot, but you clearly want to adjust the plunger to drop it through the middle lane. You should be hitting one of the three lanes on a near 100% basis. If not, keep experimenting until you figure out how much to pull it back.
