I'm not necessarily passionate about pinball, but I am passionate about doing good work and I'm passionate about video games in general. I couldn't talk for anyone that used to be here.
The problem is the game isn't using those 2 textures, it's using these 8 textures that make up the playfield and if I adjust those textures I'll probably break something else. It'll just take a long time too.
I don't think I can fix this, https://i.imgur.com/Xgnrqri.png
This is how it looks in Maya, so something else is going on. (Ignore that yellowish line it's just a Maya artifact)
I'll fix Black Hole, but it's really annoying. Have to paint a line of pixels in a bunch of textures. We'd have to reshoot White Water to fix that, it's also probably buried away somewhere in our garage.

Actually not seeing the line anywhere but on the screen right...
I work on the 3D assets and everything that goes into that stuff, anything 2D like UI and promotional stuff is usually other people... when those people are absent I may fill in for them, but I'm not sure how the UI even works or what files I would need to change. And if I don't fully understand...
Ahh, ok, yeah I see the 10k missing on DX11. For some reason it exists in DX9 but not 11. I'll fix those issues. By the way, I have about 4 hours today to fix any art related issues.
I have no hand in any UI related stuff. I don't think we ever had Spanish Eyes, we went to Banning for that table so I never got to play it. I'm not sure what you mean by the when lit text, https://i.imgur.com/Q4wb0gh.png
I don't decide which tables get picked or when season 8 happens and I guess one of those really expensive license tables like family guy or GoT, but I haven't spent much time playing tables we don't have at the office. I've been to the banning museum a few times, but I'm usually working.
I'm 31...
This table is weird, a lot of the high res textures are completely different from the lower res ones... I'll mention we should redo this table next. No promises though.
It's true we could, but I don't make the decisions if we should or not. We started doing photogrammetry for all the complex figurines which takes about 90 photos taken around the object and creates a good base model and texture that we then cleanup and optimize. Before I think they either got...
Wow, I had to check if that was really the playfield texture... Our lighting setup isn't amazing actually, it's what you do with the photographs in post that make all the difference. It begins in camera RAW with lens corrections, noise reduction and color corrections, then I crop and alter the...
