Here's somebody that merged three Jungle Lord's to create an interesting head to head experience, a la Joust.

With JJP's WOZ on the horizon, I thought it would be nice to tip our hat to the stalwart inventors/rethemers that have been making pinball behind the scenes while Stern is pumping out the blockbusters.
Here's a few to start:
Ghostbusters- Rethemed from a Flash Gordon, with Williams flippers...
So... Most of Stern's factory workers are Latino. What's the issue?
Do you have some compelling proof that Gary Stern is hiring undocumented workers besides pictures of Latino people in a factory? If his workers were undocumented, do think that he would be keen on having videos and pictures of...
Nicely done, Sean. Funny how you can nail that center lane with your eyes closed until DoD is counting down, then it seems to disappear off the playfield!
While the bumpers on TPA are indeed significantly less of a drain hazard on TPA than on an actual TZ, I tend to always ignore the skill shot, due to the possibility of an un-nudgable right outlane power drain. 10m points is not worth even a small amount of risk in my opinion, I opt for immediate...
I'm enjoying the table but in less then 10 games I've encountered two major bugs, one of them game ending. The first was right after I completed LITZ and it said "player 1 keep shooting" or something to that effect. The camera stayed on the gumball machine (I tried changing from locked to...
I'm a lean over the machine top down shooter, but I've seen people get in all sorts of contorted positions shooting the cannon. For TPA, I don't think there should be much a camera change. Trapping a ball or two while going for multiple supers is really the only long term effective scoring strategy.
Here's the announcement from Pinball News- http://www.pinballnews.com/games/avengers/index3.html
Pro will be $5699, and the LE will be a wallet crushing $8099. I agree with what has been said about the garish artwork. Note that in the press release, it begins with the "world's leading maker of...
I know a lot of pinheads that love T2 but I'm not a big fan, myself. The super jackpot scoring is unbalanced imo and if it's easy and consistent to hit on TPA, the table will be a one trick pony.
RGP (rec.games.pinball) is another good resource if you can't find what you need on Pinside.

I'm surprised DE Star Wars is so voted high... maybe for the license; a decent playfield is ruined by a one-shot ruleset. Center ramp all day is the only viable strategy, and that would be even worse on TPA. BSD for the win!!!! (and Fathom/Centaur among others)
I switched over from TPA free to TPA because of these hacked scores (and because most people that play are on TPA). Once I increased my score in TPA it stopped going up in TPA free. Most of my achievements are still in TPA free though, which is frustrating. I think the app store views them as...
It's fairly drainy but the trick IRL (can't speak to VP) is to continue shooting the broadside (center shot) over and over and over... It's safe and a fairly easy shot therefore minimizing the risk of the capricious outlanes.
