It's not in bad taste. The example you made above with crimson dragon is invalid as the company making the game decided not to release it for 360 and pushed it to another console.
Farsight can do absolute dick all about the 360 situation. They aren't holding it back they simply can't release...
I'm a huge fan of R-Type.
There was this strange little game i had on my Master System called Cloud Master. Was very colourful and not too bad really. But R-Type, the arcade version still looks good to this day. That's actually the nicest thing about the schmup is that they age really well...

DX11 will not run on windows XP, DX10 will not even run on Windows XP so if you're looking to run with DX11 Lighting you will need to run Windows 7 (Vista's an option too if you're a masochist)

Actually, this likely won't work for most. It's not exactly common to have the program files on the E drive and the path is different for a US English installation.
You will most likely have your program at "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\PinballArcade\PinballArcade.exe"
