Fair enough. Any thoughts on realistic, realizable stretch goals? IMHO, getting the other two actors' images sounds like its off the table (table purists and wishful thinkers aside.)
Someone invoked the ghost of Sorcerer as the one of the remaining unported PHoF tables. I've played it exactly...
Cupcakes for all the backers. Extra special hugs for the extra-special people that need validation.
"Hey guys, what about meeeee pay attention to meeeeeeeeeee...."
I haven't bought CP for TPA.I'm still smarting from its evil incarnation on PHoF. The extra outlanes and those dinky flippers are just pure suffering. I think that may be the only table in PHoF where I didn't finish the Wizard goals. Even Aces High treated me better.
It was in PHoF for sure...
Don't feed the trolls. "Acknowledge" counts as feeding. Expect shenanigans the month long. Ignore them. Focus energy instead on getting the word out to legitimate funders and let the toddlers have their fun.
I know FS has stated that they won't be porting any more EM tables over in the near future, focusing instead on tables that can be ROM-emulated or are part of a property that people have heard of. I understand the economics of the situation, despite the fact that (to me) nothing really says...
...and what would the stretch be? Based on the fact that FarSight rolled the surplus from the T2 kickstarter into this one, I get the impression that any amounts above-and-beyond would be banked against securing future property licenses.
Trolls today got no technique. I survived the Mac vs. PC wars on USENET. Now that was some old-school flamebaiting. Sigh. It would take a couple of rounds at TAF just to clear the mind.
Ah, willful trollishness-stupid instead of general Internet ignorance. Check. I've thrown in what my modest budget will permit. TAF quotes still occupy valuable centers of my brain, pushing out minor details like my anniversary, cell phone number, and driving directions... anywhere.
"Fumes...
I can get it to crash reliably when the game is over by clicking the "Start" button to play again. The advertisement insertion code is still broken -- even an Orballs ad is preferable to a crash! The only workaround I know of is to launch the game via "Game Setup -> 1 Player"
Mid-game crashes...
The workaround is to re-launch the game with the "Game Setup" menu, and not the "Start" button. The sponsor advertisement is still not shown, but the app won't crash (or at least doesn't crash for me.)
Not just that -- CFtBL still plays as free table (not score-limited) and the app crashes when the game is completed and restarted with the "Start" button. This is normally the point where the ad is inserted. Presumably the ad is no longer linked up to the table, but the table code didn't get...
Good luck, Ryan! It's an amazing adventure. I hope you'll be starting her on the Righteous Path of Pinball as soon as she can hold up her head and finds her hands. They're never too young to feel the lure of the silver ball!
It's not the deepest ruleset, but it's super fast IRL, and (again IRL) very satisfying to time the upper loop juuuust right to keep gunning it around and around for multipliers. I stumbled across it last summer during a visit to the Pacific Pinball Museum in Alameda, California. Mostly a "hit...
I think so, though on noisier tables it may get lost or never played.
It's entirely possible I'm mingling PHoF memories with Android play, but I'm pretty sure it does make a little noise when you hit a goal. I finally unlocked Atlantis on RBION the other day for the first time, but I was too...
Whatever the std. abbreviation may be (ahem) I did have a brain wave about this the other day. After unlocking all wizard goals, I wouldn't be sad to have a running total of the number of times I've hit the goal *after* unlocking it. Or a running total of how many times you've gone into wizard...
Yes, please, x10. A real gem, and getting the ball zooming around that upper loop is satisfaction itself. Machines with a million modes are nice, but sometimes it's just about banks of targets, pop bumpers, and points, points, points.
