So I've finally managed to get the 'Activate Super Surprise' wizard goal, and am down to the final 'Score a Super Duper Mega Extreme Jackpot' goal. I read through all the threads, and a couple people mentioned they got randomly awarded the goal during multiball, without satisfying the...
It was the last goal I needed, and was doing really well on my 1st ball. Ended up with 25x multiplier, and multiple solved cases. My bonus was 3+ Billion points. When the ball drained I saw it pop on the left side of the screen, but the goal never saved, and consequently I was not awarded the...
Just a note for anyone not being able to figure it out. On PS4, you need to press R2 to activate magna save. You can tell it activated when the yellow lightbulb turns off on the right side.
You're right about the Farsight Wizard Goals making the tables that are already ****ty to play, even ****tier. I wish the goals were more of the Central Park variety. Just hard enough to give the boring table some play, but not to the point where you need to spend weeks on a table. On one...
I'm in it just to get 100% trophies and then move on :). I did complete trophies from all Zen tables, but the fact that you can cheat by saving your game state just made the game much less appealing to me. I'm finally done with season 2, after cleaning up the Class of 1812, El Dorado: City of...
Apparently this is something that can happen occasionally - after starting the mode after Pool Ball Mania, the 8-ball is already lit, so you don't need to knock down other targets. Just hit the 8-ball, and then the 1/2 Billion Shot on the right side. Here's the vid:
Completed all the Wizard Goals so can answer the questions myself. Yes, you can earn both extra ball and special on single ball. And yes, collecting the special via rollover counts.
Here's the vid of me earning both 3 Extra Balls, and 3 Specials in one game:
The instructions claim that after lighting the special for the first time, you can re-light it on subsequent balls just by dropping the top targets once. It appears that's not the case, and you need to drop the targets twice (as opposed to Extra Ball which behaves as specified by instructions)...
Still happens on PS4, but I'm glad for it. Ended up getting it after earning 131,000 pts in one of my games on the first ball. This is one bug I'm glad they don't bother to fix.
Finally got this done, the vid is below. OP claims that the last lamp needs to be lit via lit inlane, but I don't believe that to be the case. In my vid I have 7 lamps left to light for the bonus. I hit one ramp, so that's 3 lamps + 1 inlane, that leaves 3 more lamps to light. I hit the...
Confirming the bug on PS4 as well. Thank you for posting the workaround, I thought I was going crazy after getting the special twice and not the Wizard goal.
I just got fuel by pure luck, and couldn't be happier I'm done with it. That was another one that I saw people bringing up as potential showstopper. Almost done with season 2, just need to complete Class of 1812, El Dorado and Cue Ball. From what I've read, the most difficult table left in...
I was really dreading this goal, but ended up earning it in less than 1 hour of attempts. Pure luck. Didn't even hit the letters in order, had to do two passes (I hit L first and then had to do FU-E-L). As the previous poster said - 'flail madly' and hope for the best. I did get lucky with...
I was talking about L1/R1 buttons, I thought they are the called 'trigger' buttons while the L2/R2 are the 'shoulder' buttons. Seems I had my terminology reversed. Yes, I would never use L2/R2 to play pinball due to longer travel, and them being analog in nature, where L1/R1 are just push buttons.
Thanks. Yes, it's a journey, especially when you're just starting on seasnon 2 now. But I have a feeling it will be mostly downhill now that I'm done with Goin' Nuts. Then again, I thought the same thing after 3M on Genie. Good luck with your wizards goals as well.
And I finally got it done. I can't stand these wacky wide body pinball tables, so glad to get this one off the list. Here's my strategy:
1. Always pull the plunger to second bar from the top, so that the ball ends up going to the attic.
2. Get as many drop targets hit in the attic as...
I've never played a pinball machine in real life. I've earned all available trophies on every single Zen Pinball table, and am working on earning every single Wizard Goal on all Pinball Arcade tables, but never touched a physical one. I wonder if I would be able to just walk up to one of them...
I only play the game to earn all the trophies, and in the 2 months I've been working on it I ended up with calluses on the last segment of my index fingers. It's the same type you get from lifting dumbbells/barbells, except at the top of your finger. Almost made me go and buy a dedicated...
