Nascar/GP is a solid table that I wouldn't mind seeing in TPA, and I'd prefer it as GP - save the license, and the car toy is better than the one in the Nascar version.
My point about nostalgia was that maybe, maybe I could see the fandom of some for the table if I had also loved the table as a kid (though I doubt it), not claiming that the only reason anyone does is because of it. Everyone is entitled to like what they like, and I am equally entitled to find...
...Underwhelmed. I'm gonna have to be a voice of descent here and say that Firepower is dreadfully dull to me. I didn't "grow up" playing it, I attach no nostalgia to it (or any table, I play pinball because I love pinball, not because it makes me feel warm and fuzzy about the past), and while...
Not only that, but Nintendo recently put out a list of upcoming release dates/ranges, and TPA was not listed at all. Zen was listed as Q1. Not exactly reassuring...
Couple more solid lists.
HEY FARSIGHT, you reading these???
A lotta stuff more interesting than Dr. Dude on these lists... let alone Firepower (sorry, that one's a yawn for me).
Dr. Dude does look pretty cool, but it's no Fish Tales or White Water.
You'd think they would be sane on Johnny, Shadow and Dracula, but, it's Hollywood so, who knows? LOTR I think could be worth it, and is a KS that could get funded. Indy = "The Mouse" now = nothing but doubt, and big(ger) $. Simpsons and Fam Guy are okay - but overrated - tables, that I get to...
Yeah... that's a tough one. I suppose they could program a half 'knock-off' (generally called in music a "sound-a-like") MIDI tune to take it's place... I hope they can just license the damn song, cheap, since it's a ******* MIDI version.
1. After E3 2005 I ate at some restaurant in LA that's supposed to be a landmark, and Ted Price and some guys from Insomniac were there too. Food sucked. Hard.
2. I write really excellent screenplays...and have almost no idea how to sell them/make them into movies myself/get them in front of the...
Sure would be nice if FS did actually meet the date they've told us. Wouldn't hurt my feelings if they had AFM ready to submit along with TPA to Nintendo...but I know that's dreaming.
Okay, so my point with TAF is IF they could make it happen, they'd easily have a successful Kickstarter, and they'd manage to sell it to a ton of the fools with TPA on their cellphone who have yet to buy even one table, so I think it could be profitable IF it happened, making it good...
I'm pretty sure I still have every system I've ever owned from the SEGA Master System on (though not necessarily the original one), except the GBA, but the DS plays those games so...
I'd be nice if they'd give us some new detail to tide us over/keep us excited. Native 1080p? Ability to play on only the Gamepad while others watch TV? Packs like the other consoles, or ala carte (and/or packs) with demos ala cells & tablets & Zen 2? Something...
