It's sad the forum will be gone. But there is no surprise: at least for a Mac user, there is no more. Dunno about other platforms. And the wish to play real pinball is almost gone.
One pinball repair guy told me that when people are visiting his basement, they *all* want to play, but none want...
looks good but there is a little problem there. P3 is a multi-game platform and you buy the game as a kit. Even so the kits are really different, the tables look quite the same, with a similar gameplay. I'm just saying, I never tested any P3 table.
Yeah so true. I wanted to make my own arcade public place inside a commercial centre.
The guy I knew for repairing/selling pinball tables and other stuff (like juke boxes) strongly advertised me to NOT do it.
He told me, when he has visitors, nobody wants to shell 1 coin to play a game. NOT EVEN...
How much did you pay for it ?
On the website they have an Attack from Mars machine that looks great, said compatible with 10 great tables (Medieval Madness..etc)

Atgames mentions the 22 built-in games and say it's expendable. But they are not very accurate about this. More tables from Gottlieb ? If not, which brand ? Which price ?
Recently, I noticed that MAME emulator has a rom called Scared Stiff.
I know that the game will not run, but I was curious about it and searched for any screenshots or something.
But I found nothing. Anyone has some infos about it ?
Personaly I did not update to 10.13.5, I am still on 10.13.4
For me, this new version seems ok. I tested Champion Pub and had no crash at all (but it was a quick test)
Controls were jammed, as well as video options and all my old scores are gone
Took a few minutes to re-configure my pinball...
Best standalone (only 1 table) video game I seen was Fantastic Journey (back in Mac OS 9)
GOG has made a newer version, but unfortunately only for Windows
Switching to Steam PC requires Bootcamp, a valid license for Windows and dealing with all the bugs/updates.
Its not that easy
However for me, my pinball manette would work because the driver is Mac/PC
There is a huge problem with 7.4.3 under High Sierra: when you use the flippers, they quickly go to the original position within a second; you can't stop them in upper position
Hopefully I had 7.4.0 on a backup and it works fine
but the bug makes TPA un-playable at all
