You're right, maybe I should just ignore the whinging on here. For the most part I do, but hey, sometimes people need to realise when they are overreacting. You can scoff all you want but you have once again proved my point by trying to argue with me. 13% is NOT A LOT. That's what I've been...
Thanks for the post, mate! I always enjoy when someone accidentally proves my argument.
13% of the machines at the Pinball Hall of Fame are Premiers. Funny how that's the same percentage as in TPA. Furthermore, the Hall, unlike TPA, has no contractual issues on which to base their table...
My point exactly? I don't think I'd sit there and complain about a DLC Ferrari either. "Uh, when I press the accelerator, it doesn't feel nearly like the real thing. It doesn't even turn exactly like a real one either!" I also wouldn't sit there moaning about how "x car isn't in the game yet...
It's not the same company actually. Premier, as far as I'm aware, is a separate company which bought rights to the Gottlieb name. Most people here do not complain about Gottlieb EM or SS, only Premier. So making the distinction is more than adequate.
I understand what you're saying but none of us here know what contracts are like with Williams, Stern, Bally, Gottlieb, etc. As has been said in other places is the reason we see more Premiers right now because the Williams contract is running out? We don't know. We also don't know the first...
...6 of the last 40. 6! Extrapolated further, there are 11 Premier tables in TPA. 11 out of 80 tables - 13.75%. Seriously mate, contextually you're in a huff over nothing.
Gladiators looks good! I really enjoy many of the Premiers. The only table I actively don't play is Goin' Nuts - though I understand why they made it - so I'm really happy with anything that TPA gives me. There needs to be a bit of a realistic approach and some perspective to this. Including...
I haven't encountered anything like the Seance mode. I did notice that the flippers are rather lifeless when doing a dead-pass. I wasn't sure if that was an issue in the emulation or if that was the weird angle and flipper type Premier often used. The only thing I've had which I found weird was...
I'm actually enjoying it a lot as well and haven't encountered any of the issues people were talking about. It's certainly 80s and personifies everything I love about the decade. I guess it figures I also love Dr. Dude and The Party Zone.
Notify them in an email. Might help if you lose the attitude though. Bugs happen in games, especially those requiring internet access. It's something you have to deal with on occasion but let them know and they'll fix it.
Recent experience has told me that the answer to this question for me is Indiana Jones. It's a 6-ball multiball (I think) so the balls just hit each other most of the time and those ramps are hard enough for me to consistently hit (at least on a machine with weaker flippers) that getting a...
I've got 4-way combo and World Series but not even close on the others.
For the Combo I did a live catch to the right flipper. I seem to be able to live catch quite easily on PC.
43 Home Runs I just feel will take me forever same with the Double Super Jackpot. I've never come close to...
I imagine it'd likely be EBD but I'd laugh if the 'Ask Again Later' in the magic 8 ball was a sneak reference that it won't be EBD and if you'll have to keep asking for it.
I don't mind this table either. It sure plays like a real-life Premier though - slow, weak flippers, and sometimes the ball just disappears for a while. I enjoy the modes, good multi-balls, and I think the goals are hard but achievable.
I've scratched the hell out of that scoreboard, that's...
Tee'd Off followed by Victory.
Cue Ball Wizard would be third for me. Overall I don't mind Premier games. I've never understand the theme of Class of 1812, why exactly are these characters the class of 1812? Their stories are not from that year...?
I'm an (I think) above average TPA player but a very average real-life pinball player and the one thing I have to constantly remind myself is to have patience: BREATHE. The moment I get caught up and start to flip on the fly I'm bound to sewer. I certainly have noticed my real-life play become...
