yes, you are right! I hadn't tried MM yet and I simply thought that the way it was implemented on ToM would be the same on MM. sadly it isn't!! this should be filed as a bug definitely - but I'll leave it in the request thread as well, just to make sure that FarSight is reminded to implement it...
I think the flippers are already active pre-plunge in the current tables, as you CAN activate digital pinball on ToM! All you have to do is press the left flipper right after the plunge. The MK3 cheat codes can also be activated. But I'll add this to the list, just to be sure!
Glad that this table gets some love. =) Among German collectors this pin seems to be hated that's why I got mine for around $400 - now if only the magnet held all the time...
In anticipation of TPA's (possible) release yesterday on XBLA and then it not showing up, I decided to give Pinball FX2 another chance with their newer tables "Epic Quest" and the new Marvel four-pack. I must admit: they are getting there =)
I could not believe my ears, when I actually heard...
Ah... You see in your original post it sounded to me like you said if they don't care to clean up the bogus scores
then they (as in farsight) don't deserve any attention anymore . So i simply misunderstood you.sorry!
added: ALL: free roaming camera ideally during pause mode in order to fully appreciate the table art and - more importantly! - to view every "nook and cranny" of the table to see where shots are made etc.
Wow! You *do* realize that this is a small company bringing the game to all kinds of platforms at the same time, while publishing and promoting the game by themselves...? These days, even the biggest companies ship their games full of bugs and are much slower to respond to the fans... But you...
that is unless FarSight are given access to all the assets - as early as during the digitally assisted planning stages at stern - now how AWESOME would that be! didn't Bobby King state that in the long run they would love to do simultaneous releases?
there is no swiping at the moment! the way you "nudge by touch" is to simply tap the touch screen on the upper 50% of the screen. in portrait mode (upright) this was hard for me at the beginning, because I was holding my phone on the bottom. but if you hold your device just below the "middle...
hmm... I think it should be "FarSight official tournament settings" VS "mod scores". in my opinion, anyone who would change settings in one or the other direction would do this to personally improve their game. thus: all modded scores can be lumped together in one category, right?
not when you're talking about "buy-in scores". but the machines usually list these in a separate high score list, which could be done on the online leaderboards as well, to differentiate them =) OR there could just be a number behind the score to show how many credits were used to achieve this...
Simply awesome!: This is why I am very much willing to pay for TPA tables, instead of getting free VP or FP versions... We are keeping pinball alive digitally, as well as supporting the only company that is left making physical versions. I always wondered if it wouldn't be a business model for...
Yes, that's a great idea! I'm sure some of the regulars here could take care of this cross-referencing and it might make the numbers grow over here even more...
