Way too early for PSN at this point. They don't update until sometime in the afternoon. I work second shift and they usually aren't updated before I go to work.
If there truly is no buy option to just own the table, then I won't be bothering with it. I like pinball, yes I do, but not enough to allow myself to get nickel-and-dimed just to play. It is NOT the same as playing a table in an arcade. In an arcade, I pay to play, but I don't get to have the...
That's how I play all the tables. I don't read the rules or anything, just figure it out as I go. I don't even particularly care about high scores. It's all about happy fun for me. Keep the ball alive as long as possible. If I manage an impressive high score, that's just a bonus. To be...
I think the main issue is that, save for a few select tables, most adult-themed tables just aren't that good. If the table itself isn't fun to play, the adult theme alone may not be enough for it to sell.
Tried the trial on PC.....first thing I noticed is that when it is counting up the bonus, the whip crack sounds when you hit the flipper buttons is backwards. The "whoosh" should be the left flipper and the "crack" should be the right.
I don't understand how such a simple mistake can happen...
Yeah, I do the same thing with the PC version. Too bad they set the high score so low on the trial version. I don't even get to finish ball 1 before it ends. But you know, I guess that's the point of the trial, to get you to buy it. Simple solution....release the PS3 version of tables...
OK, since we just got LCA and HRC this week, when should we start expecting the next set of table releases for PS3/Vita? I never really paid attention to how often they release new tables.
The sound in Centaur seems to be fixed.
I too noticed the slight jerkiness of the ball in HRC.
LCA seems like an OK game, not sure why so many seem to hate that table so much. While I'll agree it's not the best table in the collection, it's far from the worst.
But the real question is...
I work 2nd shift at my job and PSN almost never updates before I head to work at 2PM....sigh. Means about 11:30 tonight before I can see the new tables.
527MB......I wonder if it updates anything beyond new table support. Suppose I could do the Vita update and see if it says anything.....it usually at least tells you something about the update.
Vita update only says it adds support for LCA and HRC....205MB for Vita.
Years ago, a local movie theater had Phantom of the Opera in the lobby and I played the heck out of it. I loved the atmosphere the game created and I felt it played pretty well. It would definitely be a great addition to TPA.
Well, PSN updates on Tuesdays, in USA anyway. I work 2nd shift and get home at 11PM and always check what's new on PSN......blah blah sales and whatnot of stuff I already own or don't care about, but no TPA releases.
Maybe next week...next week.....next week.....next week.....(infinite echo)
I've noticed all the missing samples in Scared Stiff too.
Pro Mode is useless. I never use it. Feel stupid for ever having bothered with it. I mean, if turning off family mode isn't going to add the risque samples back, which is the whole reason I bought into pro mode, then what's the...
I re-installed 3 times before figuring out that MM/BoP Pro version was definitely bugged and not just some error on my part. So on the fourth and final install, I just didn't upgrade MM/BoP to pro, and now I have all available tables working on Vita.
I won't even attempt to "upgrade"...
