Ah, I didn't buy the pass from within TPA, I went directly through PSN. I bought that new Resogun game and the Season 4 Pro pass. I DL'd and installed the game, but noticed there was nothing to download or install as far as the pass was concerned. I went back into the PSN store and looked up...
Hmm.....I bought the Pro Pass and was able to get the POTO pro table. Scored over 5 mil and got all the standard goals on my 3rd play.
I assume peeps having issues bought the Standard pass and not the Pro pass?
I also bought the Season 4 Pass (Pro version), but I was able to DL the PS3 version of the game.
I did notice in the pass and table descriptions that they still say the Vita and PS3 versions are still cross-buy. I can only assume that the Vita version wasn't quite ready yet. Or maybe the...
Ah, I just automatically assumed that we'd get the dual release deal, like we've been getting. I guess Season 4 will only be one table at a time on PS3 for Season 4 then. I hope that means more frequent releases, since it's only one at a time.
Disturbing not to have a TPA update for Vita too...
Well, looks like we should get POTO and PZ this Tuesday for PS3 then. Nice! That's the last day I work before holiday vacation. I like the idea of a challenge mode on PS3. That was my favorite way to play the Williams classics disk.
Noticed that the Vita didn't update though.......that's...
PS3 version looks much better than the PC version, IMO. But to be fair, I can set up the picture any way I want on my PS3's TV, but I can only adjust brightness on my laptop.
The only other version of TPA I have played is the Vita version and it's hard to compare because of its crisp OLED...
Phantom of the Opera is the first table of Season 4, Party Zone is the second.
The USA holiday season will likely delay their release on PS3. POTO is the one I'm looking forward to most, but I buy them all, so I'll be getting Party Zone too. I figure POTO and PZ will release at the same...
There was a rumor that we were gonna also get Phantom of the Opera (first table of season 4) along with the season 3 (and possibly season 4) passes when we got Diner and BSD (last 2 tables of season 3).
Obviously it didn't happen.
Hmm...gave High Speed a run.....sound seems good to me, actually closer to the real machine than it was before. Still not EXACTLY like a real HS, but a lot closer. Didn't notice the sound cutting out any worse than a real HS. The siren always did cut out when the cops speak on a real HS.
To...
Wasn't it some demand made by Apple that caused all the issues with season passes in the first place? Something like they didn't want to allow the pass before the end of a season and were trying to force FS to make it that way for all the platforms that support TPA?
Anyway, anyone see any...
Now for the big question......can we upgrade Medieval Madness to the Pro version without going into an upgrade loop and being locked out of BoP/MM? FS has said that they've been trying to fix this.
Who's brave enough to try?
I didn't see any Season 3 pass at the USA store. I wonder if the blunder was FS's or Sony's. Probably Sony's as TPA had everything in place within the program to get it. Ah well, I've bought every table in the season already anyway.
But the S3 Pass not showing up for purchase burns FS out...
Appears we're only getting BSD and Diner, no POTO.
I imagine they will also release the Season 3 pass with BSD and Diner. But I don't know for sure.
Hopefully, they will release the Season 4 pass sooner this time around.
Yep, USA got a 537MB update today. DL'ing it now. Woot! New tables tomorrow!
Let me check the Vita since it gives actual update info.......hmm......211MB......only Dracula and Diner are mentioned, no Phantom. Bummer. I actually wanted POTO the most. Oh well, guess it will be awhile for...
I'm actually looking forward to POTO and Diner more than BSD, but only because I've actually played POTO and Diner in real life. Only ever played BSD in an ancient version of VP.
I still have a VP6 setup in my laptop. I never updated it because.....well......do you realize how long it took...
