I can't remember where I read it, but I think B2S can be made to cycle through a light sequence or animation. So although it wouldn't be controlled by the table, it would look 'active' whilst playing. I might be wrong. Again it is something probably for the future.
Thanks again for uploading...
Superb stuff Robert and NoEx. That is super quick.
Like mpad I also prefer the correct proportions but tbh either is good. Just an idea for the future (although not now), maybe it's possible to use a b2s back glass which could be animated in the future (I think Robert suggested it before)...
On PC I was into Epin Pinball particular the Android table. Then things like Pinball Illusions and Pinball Fantasies came long. Then Pro Pinball - The Web came along in the first half of the 90s and blew the rest out of the water. Good times.
One day and you cracked it Robert! Welldone. So I think you are using the Camera Mod to create a view, that results in the DMD not being over any important table stuff, that way you can overlap the play field screen onto the back glass screen to get the DMD there.
Thanks for your info. I...
I think that solution needs you to lose the top part of the monitor so you don't see the DMD on the PF, but as their cab works with PX2 and VP that would be a pain, but you could be right and they might well be doing that. Their video shows TPA for 3 seconds so it is a bugger to workout :p.
I think you are right that it is a custom mod. In the first video at the 32sec mark it looks like the DMD screen is displaying the DMD and the playfield isn't showing the DMD. That means they are not just mirroring the DMD but somehow displaying it in a different position. Like you say the...
Regarding having a DMD on a separate monitor Pinballbulbs have it somehow.
See my post here:

DMD on a separate monitor
Pinballbulbs are selling a cab with TPA installed and they have the DMD separated:

Interesting
On their website they say:
"Pinball Arcade DMD display on 2nd monitor. This is currently integrated...
They have been dangling the cab carrot for 3 years now, so they are kind taking the pis# in a big way. I have read a fair bit of negativity about this in other forums already, so it will do them harm as the die hard fans are the ones who spread the word about the product and are in many ways...
The comments about SYT are best ignored for sure.
It would be good to hear Farsight elaborate on the cab decision. After all after promising it for over 2 years some people has purchased the product based on that info, so if they are going back on a promise people want to know why.
Yep VP from now on. I built my cab for VP and it has improved beyond my dreams in the last 3 years. VP10 is awesome, Unity3D is great, so will stick with those. No more TPA for me sadly.
I just saw all the activity in this thread and thought it must be out......:(
Come on Farsight, as said above this will crown TPA as king of the pin sims. Some of us loyal cab owners promoted TPA months before it even got released. There are many more cab owners now, and a cab release will...
Get rid off it! Plus anything that breaks the illusion that you are not playing real pinball, in particular the annoying 'Goal complete' messages. In a cabinet they are really distracting as they pretty much appear on top of the flippers.
Excellent work. Well done on a superb build. Once you get the new PC with the TPA DX11 build and camera mod running with dark brightness lighting you will be well pleased. Great video BTW :)
I use the standard ball with lighting set between 0 and 10% using Mike's 'Brighten Ball' option in the config utility options launched from Steam. Works really well.
