You know, I'm kind of surprised there isn't a Jimmy Buffett Margaritaville table.
Pop bumpers making steel drum sounds, lots of fun playfield toys based on the imagery from his songs/restaurants, fun music. Seems like a missed opportunity.
Thanks for the reply and vote of confidence! Is there a recommended solder kit that most people use? And what type of metal solder (I believe there are different types?) is best used for pinball board connections?
Three years later and I am considering doing a little more work to the machine. The Silverjets and playfield polish made SUCH a difference in play.
I ordered a new rubber kit. The current rubbers all look fairly clean and work just fine, but I have to think they have never been changed since...
I got to play a Batman 66 at the Louisville Arcade Expo and it fell completely flat for me. Such a bummer because I'm a huge fan of the old Batman show. I'd be willing to give it another shot in TPA, though.
NOT officially sanctioned by FarSight... just for fun and curiosity... what are your TOP 10 STERN (2010-2018) tables of what's left, that you would like to see on The Pinball Arcade?
(You can vote for up to 10 tables).
Info about each of the choices can be found at the links below, thanks to...
Wait a minute... dark table... SAW!!! Wonder why they've never considered this franchise before? You could probably do it without getting super explicit and gory. I mean, they did Walking Dead, after all.
Talk about some fun call-outs... "Hello... I want to play a game..."
Freeing victims...
So, I've never played around with pro tables much, but I did get the pro table versions of Addams Family, T2, and Dr. Who from the Kickstarter campaigns.
Well, I figured I would finally try out the pro version of Addams Family, so I played around with the ball control setting and had a little...
Freddy should be relatively easy to get, especially if they are able to get a blanket deal with Warner Bros. for multiple tables (Twister, Lord of the Rings, Lethal Weapon 3, etc.) They slap Freddy and A Nightmare on Elm Street on SO much stuff, its insane. I just don't see how it would be...

Pinball Magic is my top choice of this batch but I can understand the appeal of Big Bang Bar, based on how rare it is.

A Beetlejuice table would be dark-ish but may be more in the Addams Family vein.
And how awesome would a Nightmare Before Christmas table be?
Just had another idea for a music one... The Beach Boys are pretty iconic, and you could probably make a pretty cool surf/beach themed pin utilizing...
I've never played it, but is Meteor really THAT good? Seems to be quite popular so far. I watched a YouTube video of it and it seemed unremarkable to me, compared to a lot of other stuff.
I have very fond memories of playing Star Gazer. When my dad's video store added a few arcade games in the...
Oh wow... awesome suggestions! Love the Halloween idea. The music would be intense. A Friday the 13th table would give a lot of opportunities for cool play field features as well.
From Hell would be awesome. I imagine some might feel it’s in poor taste, though, being based on real murders.
