I was there Friday. And Doctor Who was shrink wrapped the whole time. I was able to play one yesterday at a local shop, but it was already sold so I couldn't buy it. Priced a little high for my tastes but I don't know if I'll get another chance at this table. I liked it.
Firepower is...
Where did you see Firepower? I didn't see it there or i would have been on it all night. I really enjoyed playing Bride, and the LED mods were awesome.
I played The Wizard of Oz a couple of times and thought it was neat. But the playfield was crowded. Plus, the Scarecrow animation was super...
I third the suggestion!
Also, i like the arcade idea, but prefer a menu approach. It would be cool to be able to have "themes" available so you could switch between menu, arcade style, or whatever else people come up with.
100% agreed. Ruins the table designers' intended presentation. But, you know what, Black Knight is still inaccuarate as hell, why would they worry about fixing a sound issue that affects most of the tables in the game?
Yeah, I may be slightly bitter about this.
I don't know if there are other shows in Ohio, i ran across this one by accident. I'm only 40 minutes away so i may go Friday and Saturday.
I don't see a list either, but it would be nice to know what is there.
When are we going to see more offline modes added, like challenges, tournaments, etc, like seen in the PHOF titles. There are plenty of tables available now to make this worthwhile.
Thanks

Thanks Farsight for instilling this in me.
I can say that I didn't like Firepower when I first started playing it on PHOF:WC, but now it's in my Top 3. If TPA was my first exposure, I wouldn't want to have purchased it based on judging a book by it's cover. I would have skipped Genie in TPA because of the sounds it makes, but after a...
I don't know if you plan on upgrading really soon, but you might want to hold out for the next Motorola "X" phone (to see what they have in store). It'll be the first one with Google's hands completely on it since they purchased Motorola. But, you can't go wrong with the HTC, it's a really...
I also had different emails when I did the Twilight Zone kickstarter. But a PM to Rob fixed my issue right away. I would include both of your emails in the PM.
Especially for it being a high end phone.
It looks like in Jellybean 4.2 an option will be added to let the GPU do anti-aliasing. Maybe there will also be an option to handle textures differently. Hope so.
